@@GromBeardo just tried my riderbag on a 40 mile bike ride to Harsens Island and I can tell the cars definitely see me much better now. I did get pretty hot and sweaty but I was on a bicycle. Don't think there's any avoiding that back sweat. Not as hot as my Ascend Jackson 31L hiking bag!

Yeah, I closed for two weeks to attend some major Small Bore events down South and in the meantime got cleaned out. I'm restocking now. Posted that I hoped to be back in stock by end of June and am still shooting for that.... '22+ pumps on back order from Honda with no ETA too, so that doesn't help anyone🤣 The website is updated as I get new info on availability. Join a FaceBook Grom group in your area, they'll be able to help with install or know the local scene better.

You talking about the drive gear for the pump. the one on the back of the pump? The HONDA OEM one is black plastic🤷‍♂️

@@GromBeardo yea that’s it 👍🏻in a group I’m on Facebook it showed a plastic drive gear worn out is that a common thing or very rare . Is there a metal upgrade version do you know

@@glyndwr1282 I've never heard of one wearing out from normal riding. I mean, my buddy just hit 40K miles on his Grom and still the original oil pump. Probably why an "upgrade" isn't available that I know of. Honestly a metal drive gear sounds like a bad idea to me. If the pump fails/jams up then a metal gear is gonna cause a shit ton of damage and destroy the whole engine. A plastic one will fail and you'll basically destroy the top end, but not the whole engine.

Thanks for the question, watching and actually thinking about this stuff! If I'm understanding you correctly, which I'm not sure I am, ha, ha. You're talking about extending the pickup starting at the chamber in the middle of the case? Or somewhere before the screen, in the system? Nothing like that would be a "bolt on" modification, from what I'm thinking. Maybe you mean in the side cover and running it back to the rear of the engine? Would still need to plug the hole in the case though.

@@GromBeardoYes thats correct starting in the chamber near the filter , could you not drill and tap the hole in the rear of chamber ? or get a bulkhead fitting in there ? then just connect your pipe to it and run it to were you do on your mod ? In effect your feeding the chamber with your pipe and not relying on the oil running into the chamber like it does .
