2024 Hunting Season Has Began "look what i got"
The exposed hammer is under some sort of "spring tension" and unless the firing pin is "free floating" it is probably under some sort of "spring tension" as well.. so it looks like a matter of just upgrading to new and more powerful springs for these parts.. if you can find them. I make it a practice to ALWAYS try to buy extra parts for any firearms that I own whenever I come across them.. especially things like spare parts kits and spring kits, O-ring kits, and things like spare ejectors and any parts that take a lot of wear and tear and that eventually may need replacing over time. Some retailers like Tactical Imports will sell extra parts kits for the firearms they sell.. and I ALWAYS buy them along with my purchase.. as it is better to have it and not need it.. than to need it one day and not have it.
What cartridge you put in? .22 short or lr?
really gorgeous gun I wish we could have them in the UK
I know you guys are in even worse shape than us.But unfortunately, I think we're headed down the same path. 😢
@ziggyz2958 just remember to go vote on October and hopefully the madness will be over
@munkbok Absolutely! If I have a pulse on election day, nothing will stop me from voting. Even if I am sick as hell, or if I have to crawl on my hands and knees to the polling station, I will get there.
What it is mon, ya know
Ya know, ya know
very nice - i have the Russian SkS 1951 - i bought a ATI stock for it a few years back , but haven't switched them , very reliable , took it out to range 100 yards - if i was shooting at shit i wouldn't get a whiff , lol , couldn't hit target , and I'm a good shot , but right on you got a good one - Happy B-day
Happy Birthday! nice pick!
Very cool! I have a SKS! Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday. Beautiful Yugo SKS! It's one of my favorite types. I hope these guns stay legal.
Love your accent ! Good review.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
Quanto é
Not sure how much they are worth. Someone gave this rifle to me. Thank you for the comment and the support.
We need more black people gun vloggers
Yah thanks i , glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
now that is a fun afternoon! looking great buddy! love the big kid grin after you first racked Utas15 lol, you are awesome!
Thanks for the super support and its always good to go out to the woods and take a couple shots and enjoy the fresh air.
Looks to me that it is denting the primer hard enough---Mabee try different ammo!
Yah i tried some different ammo and it was the same thing. I m going to try change the spring in the hammer and se if that makes a difference. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
It’s very sad what the Canadian government is doing with firearm. I can’t use some of my guns anymore. They say they are going to ban even more in february.
Unfortunately, it looks like their long range plan is to have NO legal civilian ownership of any firearms. Bedtime for democracy. After guns, what's next on the ban list? This used to be a good place to live.
Yah it is very sad and not looking very good for us. Hopefully in the future we can get to use our firearms and continue our sports and hunting. Lets just wait and see and have hope for a better future. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support
Meanwhile in the US we're close to disbanding the ATF
I dont know if any of that is really going to happen. I think its just a liberal politcal stunt. we'll see after the election in late feb
Have some faith, write your MP and save up some cash for when they come back. The buyback is completely unfeasible, so make sure to buy as many guns as you can when the OIC gets lifted and were back to normal.
great inexpensive little pinker. keep the videos coming, you are making great content!
Glad you like them! Thanks for all the support and keep watching for more
that sucks that it jams up, it looks really nice. Thanks for sharing the video!
It really does suck but hope i can figure out the issue so i can shot it some more, Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

Thanks for the comment and support. Glad you enjoy your SKS too!
Nicr rifle how much did u give for it if u dont mind me asking im looking for one in 3006
I paid 200 for this one but people sell hem for more. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching
It's too bad I don't live closer to you, I would take a look at it. Looks like the hammer is striking the shell hard enough, but It could be weak hammer spring. Or could be the firing pin alignment is off with the bullet shell (striking the the shell beside the rim), or could be the firing pin is slightly deformed or broken (not striking the rim properly). Wish I could fix it for you, that's a nice little rifle.😎👍
Yeas thanks you i will try pull it apart and take a look at the spring for the hammer to see if it is not striking the hammer hard enough. Thank you for the info and help. Thanks for the support and comment
Love mine after break in eats everything comes backs seconds
Yes definitely i have shot it a couple times and it shoots very good. I will do a shooting video with it shortly. Thanks for the comment and the support.
I cannot imagine that people would buy firearms and NOT figure out how they work, how they come apart, and what it takes KEEP THEM RUNNING. Good onya, bruh.
Yes definitely everyone should know how there firearms work and how to clean them. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
Thats a nice rifle you have there. I own several savage rifles and all of them are accurate and reliable. I need a 22 lr the model 64 sounds good. Or marlin model 60
Yes it is a nice rifle and hopefully you can get one as well. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
Should have mentioned it has a steel receiver were the 62 is aluminum.
There's a big difference between CHEAP 😊and INEXPENSIVE. Your rifle is INEXPENSIVE. 😁😁😁
That looks like it would be good for rabbits!
Have you tried the 22 shorts yet? I'm thinking the normal 22 rounds are too powerful and they are swelling in the chamber and getting stuck.
NO i have never tried the shorts yet but i have some rounds so i will for surly take it back out and try it, Thanks for the good info. Thanks' for watching and the support
@@jahunterplus415 Only guessing because I have an old Stevens visible loader that the bullets stick when shooting 22lr but it works perfect with 22 shorts.
The Canadian Rookie Starter Kit: Savage 64f, Maverick 88, Chinese SKS 🎉
LOL definitely that's a nice comment and i have all those 3 guns maybe i will do a video with those. Thanks so much for the comment and idea.
Do they have Removable choke tubes or are the fix choke? Can you run steel waterflow loads through them?
NO it is a fixed choke, I have not tried running the steel shot through it as yet. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
That's a nice one!
Yes it is and i cant wait to take it out and make a next awesome video. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support
I have the wooden model..beautiful gun. 1st shot would not eject empty she’ll send it back next day for warranty and the said ring on gas piston was missing from factory so no gas cycling the action then the forend would not stay night so the sent me a new magazine cap. Works perfect now I love it
Glad you got it figured out and can go have some fun with it. thanks for watching and thanks for the support.
Thanks for the awesome videos!
Glad you like them! And thanks so much for the support and watching them

Nice!

Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
Congrats to 1000 subscribers! Do you gusy in Canada use salt to remove snow and ice from the road, or do you just grind off the ice? I thought using salt was common (at least in Europe), but appearently it is not im some states in the US.
In Canada they scrap the snow then put salt and gravel over it. Thanks for the support and thanks for watching
Loved this - just received one of these beautiful guns myself - thanks for the video!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching and thanks for the support
I've been looking for a nice Ishapore SMLE for an old bolt action in 308
I have my designated "survival rifle" always standing by in my bug out kit. It is nothing special.. it is far from my best or most expensive firearm.. in fact it is one of the cheapest firearms that I own in my collection.. and it is the Laser Arms XT7 break action single shot 12ga shotgun. It has a vented rib 12" barrel.. and it is threaded for chokes.. and when broken down it is very light weight and can fit in a back pack. While it may not have a high round capacity.. the REAL beauty in this platform are my collection of RIFLED CHAMBER INSERTS that allow me to shoot MANY other calibers out of this small compact 12ga shotgun! Not only can I shoot 12ga.. but I can also shoot 20ga.. 410ga.. 45-70.. 44Mag/44Spl.. 357Mag/38Spl.. 45acp.. 45LC.. 40S&W.. 9MM.. 380ACP.. 22WMR.. 22lr - that is 15 different calibers that I can shoot from just ONE gun.. and that is why it is my DSF - "Designated Survival Rifle" - Inside this shotgun are many secret compartments where I keep things like fishing line and hooks.. medical supplies.. paracord.. needle and thread.. a knife/razor.. and matches.. as well as some reloading supplies like 209 primers.. gas seals and wad bases.. powders.. and a slug mold for making my own slugs - you can "hand reload" a used 12 gauge shotgun shell many times in the field and even turn some light bird shot into a very useful slug. Finding sources of lead for me will be just as good as finding bullets.. and you can melt down fishing line sinkers..car tire wheel weights.. even the lead sheets used in roofing.. to cast your own slugs and 00 buckshot for reloading your shotgun shells.. as long as you have powders and primers - you can even make your own seals and wads if you have to. Even if I run out of 12ga ammo.. with the rifled chamber inserts.. I can still scavenge for ammunition in a survival type situation and my chances will be very good in being able to use almost any PISTOL CALIBER ammo/bullets that I might find. Big Up yourself JA Hunter! Nuff Respect!
Thanks for the awesome comment, it's always great to hear from people with such a diverse collection and a great approach to survival! You've really thought this through. That shot gun with the inserts that sounds really nice i will have to take a look into purchasing some of those inserts. Thanks for the support and thanks for watching.
I miss the one used to have, traded it for a bolt action .22 that turns out wasn't as accurate. 😢 Enjoy it!
Yes these little pump 22 are very nice and looking forward to taking some shots with it. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support
Fun looking little pump action. Great video... Video idea - maybe have your son do a compare video with this one and his little pump
Yes thanks for the idea! I will try and get them together for a comparison video. Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support
Nice video, thanks for sharing 👍
