I’m a thrifting Jersey girl and was so invested in this video but just disappointed that you never mentioned the county or the town you were in! If you are looking for another nice one to visit check out back on the rack in West Long Branch (super small) but great finds there, I haven’t been in years but they never disappoint

I used to manage a high end consignment shop in Princeton. I used to have clients just give me stuff. We had Chanel, Prada, St. John etc. My favorite treasures are the accessories. I snagged Hermes scarves and Gucci and Ferragamo belts. I bought my first fur coat from there.
Wow! That was very generous of them. I use to shop at Green Street in Princeton years ago. I need to go and check them out. Thanks for watching ❤️
@tracyldays The shop I used to manage was the Princeton Consignment Boutique. Sadly the owner decided to move away so we closed down years ago. I also love Green Street and they're prices are great.

Do you get your blazer altered after you thift them? I buy mens and they are bulky.
No, I think that would cost too much. I would consider under certain circumstances. I would do a men’s blazer, not too big, for an oversized look. But most of my blazers that I’ve thrifted are women’s. Try a women’s blazer for a different silhouette and see if you like it… thanks for watching ❤️

How much more expensive do you think buying a high quality shirt vs an acrylic shirt?
Hi there! It depends on brand and manufacturing quality….a good cotton shirt can cost 30% to 100% more than a polyester or acrylic shirt. I’m thinking about doing a video on Which retail stores to find good quality cotton products.
@ Please do! I try to buy quality stuff (most things I own) and I hate when a crappy shirt or pants falls apart or starts to pill. I will say most of my good tops came from J. Crew so long ago and Banana Republic. I’ll have to check the tags, but a video would be very helpful to start moving to a more sustainable closet. subscribed too ❤️

I must have some kind of super power with dresses because I find the cutest and most beautiful dresses in the thrift . I wear them to church and everyone gushes over my clothes . I had a run in with a re seller , she told me I cant stand by you , you are taking all the good ones off the rack and you are cutting my profits " Can you believe that ? I mean honestly when did some people become so rude or have the audacity to speak to someone that way ?

Oh Wow! This was my Grandmom’s favorite place in Florida when I was a little girl. My Grandmom was with it, youthful. Lost her when she was 50😢. But, I wanted to thank you for sharing this and to also let you know that I sourced some cashmere and wool sweaters, a leather moto jacket..the THINGS this weekend! Then, when I returned home, I flipped out my non-natural fiber items and replaced them with my new purchases. And if you are ever in GA, let me know, because I know the spots! Trust! 😊

Love the outfit! But Ralph Lauren himself has stated he doesn’t know when or why his last name is pronounced as if he’s French. It’s not the correct pronunciation of his last name. His last name is pronounced just like the first name of actress Lauren Bacall. Look it up for yourself.. 🤗
