My opinion is that this album is let down, in parts, by its production Where Emancipation feels timeless, incorporating classic RnB sounds, E=MC2 feels very much of its time, and to me, hasn’t aged well

Walter had a contract with Sony. He couldn’t leave, even if he wanted to. I believe Walter would have preferred to work with Mariah over anyone else because of their history. However, him being under the control of Sony, it was never going to happen. Sony really tried to ruin Mariah but she’s an amazing song writer and vocalist, a true artist!! I’m happy for her❤
