Is this russet or buck brown?

No loop? Without the loop, no diagonal slant. That slant makes the stitching line pop and is visually appealing.

I don't get the appeal... Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of either color.

I did this same line of work in the shoe factory. I loved the job. i also made the holes in the leather shoes. Job then came with the holes already in the shoes, then eventually shoes were done with stitching done by machines. Job was taken away by machines, hand stitching done away. How Sad. I was paid $1.00 a pair to hand sew like this.😮
