Spanish Four and AP are two different levels at my school. Upon entering Spanish Four, you should know the present tense, regular and irregular verbs, future, conditional, present perfect, reflexive verbs, preterite vs. imperfect, and an introduction to the present subjunctive. Spanish Four students entering AP Spanish should know all of the subjunctive (but it is reviewed in AP) and compound tenses such as pluperfect and the pluperfect subjunctive. You should also be starting to read short novels and be able to organize and write five paragraph essays. Does that help? Angie
