I have to say: MS was nowhere on my radar. It wasn’t until an (ongoing) episode of what we think is optic neuritis happened, from my second opinion doctor. I have all these weird symptoms that I’ve been attributing to medication side effects, that very well could be either. It’s crazy how widespread the symptoms can get, whether I end up having it or not

I know this is an old video but I did have a question: How were you able to work every day with your situation? I’m having symptoms and, after four months- I finally see a neurologist in 2 weeks. But in the meantime I can only get through maybe 4 hours at work. I’m a nurse and on my feet constantly and need to be sharp. But with this 😢, it’s very hard. Also, it’s hard to concentrate at work because I’m all consumed with how I’m feeling. Also- I feel alone and isolated and a burden on my husband. Thank you for your inspiring story. ❤

Will you continue to keep up updated throughout the 6 months MRIs? I have MS and I watch your happy result videos every time after I get my results, they make me feel better ❤

Heat and stress

Thank u for this. I have Ms and I'm only 23 years old. I struggle to walk as I have lost my balance and I'm always dizzy all the time especially when turning around and my left hand has no co - ordination . Although I'm happy that I can walk myself around the house to do things without assistance I can't ignore the fact that my life has changed completely I no longer go out by myself. I need to have someone with me. That time I have zero support, it's just me and this thing. My mother is too busy with her own life, plus she doesn't take this disease seriously and my friends have distance themselves from me. I can't even get a job to sustain myself. Couldn't do my fitness test for the job I had applied for before falling sick and it broke my heart because it was a really well paying job. I'm from South Africa btw(African female). I just wish that I could recover completely and go back to my normal life like it was before 😢

I was officially diagnosed yesterday and am going to be beginning treatment as soon as all the referrals and scripts and bloodwork gets sent out and done. Thank you so much for posting and documenting your journey. I like the realness with which you discuss these things in your videos. I'm struggling a lot with memory issues, fatigue and anxiety. It is so scary to think that my memory may not improve but listening to what happened with your hand gives me hope that treatment could change things despite the doctor saying its likely permanent at this point. The grief I feel now is immeasurable, but there is hope where there otherwise may not have been because of hearing stories like yours. Thank you, Sarah! Also, for the record your crying face looks better than mine haha so points for you on that end too XD

I was diagnosed in 2009 at 41. I started having symptoms after my mother’s death, but during my divorce i went partially paralyzed. I regained my strength after years. Stress is the biggest trigger.

I’m in the process of getting diagnosed due to having optic neuritis. Question has anyone here had their diagnosis just with a regular MRI or do I really need to get an MRI with constrast?

Hi. I know you aren’t a doctor but curious to get your opinion. I’ve had two episodes now (one which I’m currently having) where I lose sensation and have pain on the left side of my body... leg and face mostly but also arm and neck. I’m having a hard time walking and I’m switching between a cane and a walker. I went to the ER both times, and this time they found a lesion on my spine. I only have one though so do you think this could be MS? I also have a weird left-sided face stuff and my smile is off and my left eye hurts and can go lazy.

I have all the symptoms. What should i do. It's scary.

Can you please make an update. Let us know your symptoms and what youve been feeling. Are your hands and legs still numb. Also, did you take anything for anxiety like antidepressants? Please give us an update

i get the symptoms and the doctos send me for MRI's and scans and at the same time i was combatting a concussion and stress from a car accident and it was covid tim eso i totally get you with the anxiety Sarah , It was such craz times. Doctor see the lesions on my brain and upper spine but dont' want to say i have MS yet .. (not sure how many times i have to wet myself when i all of a sudden have to pee. the spasms the vision blurring and then fine and then blurred in only 1 eye lol people taht do'nt know about it dont get the variety of symptoms... heck i donlt even get them all if something fees weird i often think is this a symptom or not and then go find a group to see if anyone else has it. lol I havent really openly spoke about MS because they can't say for sure i have it but i combat what is there with healthy holistiv alternatives and thats what messes the doctors up. beat the inflamation for sure.

Stumble on your video...and 1) I thought I was the only one who sleeps in MRI!?...but the technicians when finding out its me, warn me not to sleep cause i twitch and I mess things up.🤣🙄 2)I like your gap, plus you seem to have good oral hygiene, which seriously dont understand why is it so hard for others. 3) good video. Did people ignore you and try to downplay your symptoms at first? Doctors not actually doing their jobs, "it's just stress", youre just depressed. I'm pretty sure I have MS or ALS for 9 months at least. I have weird muscle firings all over my body. They started in my face. Most of them are small single pops or flutters but sometimes they get set into a muscle. I get so tired quixk sometimes.

I have ALL the symptoms of MS 20 years I've been disabled in the pain and all kinds of stuff have happened to me for about a month my legs decided not to work and I had to use a cane and it was miserably horrible work for no apparent reason I had to use a cane and it was very painful painful but the doctor basically blew me off I keep running into wall cabinets I spill everything and now I'm starting to not be able to not take a I feel like my throat is closing up talk about everything including my own saliva 30 + issues everything I have severe hot flashes and now I'm watching this video I'm realizing maybe I don't have menopause the gynecologist said I was too young for it and blew me off don't ever trust your doctors get your own records at your own questions and find a doctor that will help you so I'm finally going to an MS neurologist for an hour away and I don't have a car

I don’t know if you’ll see this or not, but I am currently going through different tests as my doctors and I suspect ms. I have recently had a couple panic attacks and have had a couple “episodes” of dissociation/derealization not feeling like I’m in my own skin/ experiencing everything in slow mo. Hugs to you. I feel i have ms! I get panick attacks in the heat; im fatigued and my body hurts... Alot of neck stiffness . And sometimes i move or twitch idk

I’m in the process of being diagnosed, starting a month ago. I’m 70 and all the signs I attributed to an auto accident I had in my 20s. I’m so thankful that I didn’t know. Currently, as I’m waiting for the super-slow medical industry to figure it out, I’m eating healthier and the symptoms are less severe.

Getting diagnosed and looking back on decades of things that seemingly come and go and come and go. You don’t have it at diagnosis. Hell I’ve had it pretty much my whole life. Just getting older and having life events trigger it is what got to a point of getting more worried and not sustainable. And that’s saying a lot because certainly life events that trigger long periods of episodes were pretty scary. But my last trigger has been a shitty back and forth recovery. Currently not taking any meds considering I managed all that time but getting to a point last couple years I’m starting to think I’m not going back to my equivalent of normal.

Really happy for you, just got diagnosed and i am so scared of the future, thanks to your video, it gives me hope. Wondering if anyone in ontario, Canada?

I have all of the symptoms but no lesions (thank God) but legs going out from under me, vision worsening by the month, speech and word finding a mess, inflamed rib cartilage and heart lining, severe fatigue and general musculoskeletal tightness and pain all my daily experience. Seizures since 21, too, and weak but tight pelvic floor muscles leading to 8 surgeries for anal fistulas that keep forming for no apparent reason 😢🤷‍♀️ no lesions but all that. Idk what to wish for, but whatever I get I hope the suffering stops.

Hi, You are such a beautiful girl and you give me so much strength to fight this strange disease. I have CIS in my spine and have had very similar sensations in my arms and legs since April 2024. I can feel my left hand in my right hand or even in my leg. I still have little numbness of my left side. Horrible reality, but it's already a little better. Now my head is spinning. That's news. I don't know if I should discuss it with the doctor or wait to see what happens. I hope that my symptoms go away in a couple weeks.. I wish you a lot of strength and I will follow you.

Did you check your B12 vitamin level? Deficiency of B12 can cause a lot of neurogical issues. You should check MMA and Homocysteine level for B12 deficiency.
