Early on I recommend getting -throwing on rings and using the mana back on 0 manacost skills from the basic skill tree. when you get enough attributes (breakpoints are x40), you'll get enough mana back through the falconry passive node + mana regen on swords.

@@MaitoOlio That is massively helpful and my mana problems are solved if I can bother you with 1 more question. Theres several times, probably 50% of my falcon casts dont reset because the falcons kill the mobs before I can hit with the net. Is there a trick or method you use to be so good at resets, you never miss. Want to thank you for posting this, after hundreds of hours in this game, this is the very first time Ive actually felt overpowered and its so fun.

@@joeleeman9886 you just have to get the timing right, I throw my net before pressing falcon strikes. Since falcon strikes casts at sn instant speed you can get the net to hit after 1 of the bird's attacks. If it misses just use aerial assault + dove bomb to get the cooldown back down. One QoL if you get high enough rolls on +levels to falconry is to get the falcon to mark on normal attacks 20-40% of the time, but it isn't necessary after getting the timing into your muscle memory.

@@igor_rr mana regen through swords and mana from falcon's hits though the skill tree "hunter's spoils". before you get enough attributes you can use -throwing cost on rings and get mana on 0 cost abilities on passive tree

@@hellRaiserRED1 dual wielding swords lets you get more use from body and idols and blademaster passive "bleed chance per equipped sword". This setup also converts block to glancing chance so using a shield is suboptimal with this setup.

@@spidzcats after getting all the bleed chance conversion and a way to consume the bleed stacks. Blood roosts are a super big part of bleed conversion, so you could start stacking bleed chance after getting those.

@@cloudthegod3452 getting the bleed conversion from sky assassin, having falcon abilities be instant from intuitive connection are the most important for offensive capabilities in the end. For defenses silver shroud stacks from the singular point in coordinated fate and all the glancing blow nodes are important aswell. After those it's the dex nodes + armor per dex.

Net procs smoke bomb, so there's an empty slot because of that. When going for absolute min-maxing you'd put another falcon on the hotbar for resummoning and snapshotting crimson shroud stacks for bleed chance on the falcon.

@@zeke4493 I got to 1,2k corruption pretty fast, but this patch the boss fights become skillchecks quite quickly since pretty much everything 1-shots you. Haven't played other setups than this myself so I can't recommend this build over any other.

@@nicoo0912 same skill/passive setup and focused mostly on getting as much dex as possible for falcon's base dmg. Began focusing on bleed chance after getting blood roost/doublet of onos.

MG is op for early power on lesser known builds, can get nearly BIS gear for cheap.

I used puncture with bow until I was able to get the instant proc and mana return on falcon's skill tree and stacked as much dex as possible early on. Focusing on getting all the dex possible will give you enough damage on your falcon's hits for getting through most of the leveling process.

@@MaitoOlio Oh interesting. I've never considered the dex thing. I've also never used puncture before. Is there key nodes for that you would recommend shooting for?

Setup is pretty much the same as in the 1st kill, current character has 2x2 idols swapped for pure hp ones for higher corruption: www.lastepochtools.com/planner/BgKMyndB

It's pretty bad without double red rings of atlaria, but you could always sacrifice a bit of the dps out of idols for more hp. Currently at 777 corruption and I do get oneshot quite a bit, but around 500 it wasn't too bad.

Sword base doesn't matter with my setup since 99,9% of damage comes from falcon's bleed stacks instead of mine. That was the first exalted minion dot sword I found where I crafted bleed chance + mana and had enough forging potential to mirror it.

Rogue in general has high movement speed which is the biggest factor in being fast, but I don't have any experience with other setups than this one so I can't comment on speedrunning as a whole.

It's early in the cycle so good items are scarce - he settled for a sword with T6 minion DOT (this is a minion bleed build afterall), bleed and mana then used rune of creation to duplicate it. He could have rerolled the spell dmg but he probably ran out of forging potential.

​@@HKG-gq4kp to add to this explanation: the only prefixes that would help in this setup are mana and parry chance since none of the other modifiers help out on minion damage. Same goes for the sword base: Only sword base that would be of any use is Rust Blade which would give a couple of poison stacks or one of the new bases which help with the new evade mechanic, but those upgrades are insignifigant compared to getting T7 minion dot and T5+ bleed chance with good rolls.

I'd recommend leveling with something else since bleed chance is hard to come by early on. Personally I leveled with the same skills but focused on stacking dex for falcon throwing damage and added bleed later on after I got blood roosts.
