Panic In Detroit (Live) (Instrumental)
The process of isolating the instrumental tracks is often imperfect, particularly on songs with many vocal effects. Despite this, I hope that the value of this project is more important than its imperfections. Some of the saxophone was difficult to separate from the vocal track, leading to some of it being missing here. If this is able to be fixed, I will re-upload.

Dedicated to @L.T.VideoAndAudio This is an edit of Win (Live In Atlanta 1974). The original had an annoying hiss which I have managed to (mostly) remove. The final will cover what is now known as the Soul Tour and the creation of the Young Americans album. ...

This instrumental track is my new morning coffee! RIP Dennis Davis!!! 🌠🕯🎇
This isn’t from the original studio recording, is it? I can tell by the ‘searching’ vocals. Could you upload that one, by any chance?
You're correct. This is from the live album, Welcome To The Blackout. I can definitely look into uploading the studio version.
This is so cool.. Never knew the basslines had so much finess
Nice.. These the original bass and drum of the david live album?
Yes, they are the originals.
@@azorbz9286whooh just amazing.. Could you do more tracks of this album?
@@johnr7729 I was already considering it, but now I'm certain I will. I'll put the link here when the next one is up.
May I ask you a question? Is there any Heroes and Low tracks that still haven't been heard?
There certainly exist alternative takes. The (presumably) guide vocal for Sound And Vision was used in the film Moonage Daydream, so I can't imagine that there are not more. With regard to unheard songs, I don't know of any in particular. Low's '90s reissue had the song Some Are, which was one of Bowie's personal favourite unused tracks. A lot of Low in particular was based on the unused The Man Who Fell To Earth soundtrack that Bowie had made. I'd imagine that more of it was considered and developed into potential tracks for Low. "Heroes", I am less certain about.
@@azorbz9286 They keep trying to sell the older stuff but I sure like to know if the Low, Heroes, Scary Monsters, and Lodger alternate takes were available.
@@danielroberson5421 I'm not too confident that they plan to get up to the Berlin Era. I've heard that they only have plans up to (and including) Diamond Dogs. That is old information though. We know that they've thoroughly searched and documented the archives now, so more material may have been discovered, allowing for sets for later albums.
@@azorbz9286 The last Album Waiting in the Sky is anything but new.
@@danielroberson5421 Waiting In The Sky was a pointless release, yes. The only positive I will say about it is that the sound quality is excellent. It's really just an advertisement for Rock 'n' Roll Star!, and doesn't really claim to be anything more.
hi can you do bewlay brothers without the vocals at the end?
So, just the regular, complete song up until "Lay me place and back me pie...", where it switches to instrumental?
This is tho song for my band
Now we can talk in confidence Did you guess that we've been done wrong? Lies jumped the queue to be first in line Such a shameless design He thinks he's well screened from the man at the top It's a shame that his children disagree They coolly decide to sell him down the line Daddy's brainwashing time He's a dodo, no no, didn't hear it from me He's a dodo, no no, didn't hear it from me She's quite enthralled with the childhood of yore When a unit was a figure, not a she When lovers chose each other, now the perks are due Another memo to screw She's a dodo, no no, didn't hear it from me She's a dodo, no no, didn't hear it from me Can you wipe your nose, my child Without them slotting in your file a photograph? Can you sleep alone at night Wake to find the scorching light of neighbor Jim? As they pulled you out of the oxygen tent You asked for the latest party With your silicone hump, and your ten inch stump Dressed like a priest you was Todd Browning's freak you was Crawling down the alley on your hands and knees I know you're not protected, for it's plain to see The diamond dogs are poachers and they hide behind trees Hunt you to the ground they will, mannequins with kill appeal I'll keep a friend serene (Will they come?) Oh, baby, come onto me (Will they come?) Well, she's come, been and gone Come out of the garden, baby You'll catch your death in the fog Young girl, they call them the diamond dogs Young girl, they call them the diamond dogs The Halloween Jack is a real cool cat And he lives on top of Manhattan Chase The elevator's broke, so he slides down a rope Onto the street below, oh, Tarzie, go, man, go Meet his little hussy with his ghost town approach Her face is sans feature, but she wears a Dali brooch Sweetly reminiscent, something mother used to bake Wrecked up and paralyzed, diamond dogs are stabilized I'll keep a friend serene (Will they come?) Oh, baby, come onto me (Will they come?) Well, she's come, been and gone Come out of the garden, baby You'll catch your death in the fog Young girl, they call them the diamond dogs Young girl, they call them the diamond dogs Oo-oo-ooh, call them the diamond dogs Oo-oo-ooh, call them the diamond dogs In the year of the scavenger, the season of the bitch Sashay on the boardwalk, scurry to the ditch Just another future song, lonely little kitsch (There's gonna be sorrow) Try and wake up tomorrow I'll keep a friend serene (Will they come?) Let's dance in 1978?
The clip is taken from Moonage Daydream (a documentary by Brett Morgen). During a segment backed by Let's Dance (1983), there is a compilation of clips of Bowie dancing. I uploaded just the Earl's Court footage as it was the most interesting (other than the Diamond Dogs footage). The audio is that which is in the movie, not from the show.
In the event that this fantastic voyage Should turn to erosion and we never get old Remember it’s true, dignity is valuable But our lives are valuable too We’re learning to live with somebody’s depression And I don’t want to live with somebody’s depression We’ll get by, I suppose It’s a very modern world, but nobody’s perfect It’s a moving world, but that’s no reason To shoot some of those missiles Think of us as fatherless scum It won’t be forgotten ‘Cause we’ll never say anything nice again, will we? And the wrong words make you listen In this criminal world Remember it’s true, loyalty is valuable But our lives are valuable too We’re learning to live with somebody’s depression And I don’t want to live with somebody’s depression We’ll get by I suppose But any sudden movement I’ve got to write it down They wipe out an entire race and I’ve got to write it down But I’m still getting educated but I’ve got to write it down And it won’t be forgotten ‘Cause I’ll never say anything nice again, how can I?
The music here is so amazing.

Sounds like 70s Porn Music.
You need that great voice of Bowie to make this one complete. Great intro of a excellent album.
Great work!
This album sounds so haunting.
I like the Candidate Reprise before this song on the album it's really cool. Can you include that in this song?
Thank you for all the work you have done here it's some great music.
One of my favorite songs from that time when I heard this as a kid I was floored.
what program do you use for this ??
There's a variety of AI tools which can attempt to isolate vocal / instrumental tracks under the titles "splitter AI". The most famous is Deezer's AI. I then use Audacity to make adjustments to maximise the quality of the audio.

Bowie played all the guitars on this song. And saxophone.
Excellent
Some might say that removing the vocals would ruin the effect of the song; I take a more neutral stance. While it's... not quite what I expected, as the sudden quietness contrasted against the blaring loudness is a tad jarring, the effort that must have went into this is still laudable. If I ever need something to use as backdrop music to dialogue in a story, a theater play, a movie, or whatever, it will be there. So thanks.
