Forest Rumbler Backyard Coaster Over Time
The Forest Rumbler is a backyard roller coaster in Atlanta, Texas, which is currently SBNO. Construction began in 2018 and was completed in 2021. The ride housed over 3,000 rides during operation, and went into SBNO status in 2022. Sections of the track are expected to be moved to a property just east of Dallas, Texas early in 2024. The FR tracks will be integrated into a similar BYRC build.

The Forest Rumbler Backyard Roller Coaster, located in Atlanta, Texas, has been standing but not operating (SBNO) since March, 2022. Although the structure cannot be salvaged, much of the track will be disassembled and integrated into a new project (TBA) near Sulphur Springs, Texas. #backyard #rollercoaster #Forestrumbler

This looks like the same track layout as the kiddie coaster from Crystal beach in the 80's

This looks so smooth. The train only looks rough on the turn the rest it so smooth. Most wooden coaster you see today if you look at the train the train is shaking and vibrating a lot but not for this coaster.

Why was it originally closed?
I had to move to another city.
That's a sad sight, it was one of my favorite BYRCs!
I greatly appreciate your love for the FR. The track is actually in impressively good shape. Hopefully, the plan to work it into a new build will prove successful. It has indeed been a special little gem. 🎢

Many backyard coasters for me scream why does this look so unsafe but when I looked at this one, I thought for a second have I seen this at a state fair before.
You very well may have seen it at a fair. It is an A Herscel Little Dipper, 1952 model. 🎢

Well it is an actual park coaster, it is a little kids coaster made in the 1950's. There are several smaller amusement parks, fairgrounds, and fun centres that have these exact rides. Even some of the big huge theme parks had some of these, heck Six Flags Magic Mountain has one.
Go get the flywheel launch system from Montezumas revenge in knottsbery farms parking lot and create the worlds first launched little dipper 🤣

@TommyBowerscoasters o awsome!!! Please take care of it! I love that you painted it. You know what would be awsome? Build like a nice Victorian style roof over the lift with trim going down the sides. Have the turn arround covered with a big trellise with ivy growing all over it
