I absolutely loathe when people will call me anytime day or night The people KNOW that I work open to close up to all 7 days of the week I hate being woke up in the morning I hate being woken up in the middle of the night I hate calls when I have finally gotten to bed after having to deal with people in my face all day I’m in sales My boss calls my phone the devil and evil even though I hate talking on the damn thing I get in trouble when people ignore what I have said about getting in BIG trouble when people call me at work My boss is addicted to his phone and is always talking and texting. Doing socialist media etc and puts his phone habits on me. HES Always on his phone. Not me. But I do catch hell for getting calls Let’s see The only “free time” I have is my 6 hours to sleep. My shower time. People have insisted on talking to me when I’m trying to take a shower or sit on the toilet I have a full scale bird rescue that I don’t get much help with. And my drive to and from work That’s my whole life I get anxiety when people call me and they don’t say anything On top of having to be in customer service I am supposed to carry both sides of phone conversation and be entertaining for these people who call me Oh I hate it!!

I hate phonecalls when the person does it without asking me if I'm available and it's even more rage inducing if the person calls me for something that could be dealt with in a few seconds with quick chat messages or emails or something they could've dealt with themselves (looking at you that one retarded user in my company who called me often for shit he could fucking read in the motherfucking user manual of the software and I looked at his hiring date he had 3 more years of experience than me it was making my blood boil) Another phonecall that make me want to punch the other person so hard their face won't be recognizable is when I send a text or an email and they call me to answer it (GOD FUCKING DAMN ASK ME IF I'M AVAILABLE BEFORE FUCKING CALLING😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 ) I got carried away but the only call I tolerate and don't make me wanna go full berserk on someone is ones that are actual emergencies. And I reduced frustration at work regarding phonecalls by telling people to message me with quick chat and when they do I reward them with instant and precise answer I thought rapidly on the other hand when they call without warning me beforehand I will take time to answer or just refuse then call back minutes later on purpose because fuck you I'm not paid to be 24/7 available to everyone.

I get insanely nervous when i get or give phone calls. Especially giving a phone call. There is nothing worse than calling someone you don’t know well and having an awkward conversation that will haunt you in your mind for months.

Telling people youre an introvert doesnt always work because theyll just say "so am I but I still talk to people." Then youre not really an introvert, are you?

Phone calls are even more annoying for me where I live, as it’s compounded by the fact that voicemail doesn’t exist in this country, and I’m usually having to communicate in a language which is not my first language.

If you tend to be introverted, can you move along the introversion and extroversion continuum and become tending to be extroverted? ??😅

I learned sending a audio message is a nice medium. I can’t stand getting phone calls. Ironically the only calls l’ll pick up for are calls from people that normally don’t call, because I assume it’s important

My family says I’m bad with phones when the truth is my phone works just fine, it’s right next to me, and I know you are calling…I just avoid the call on purpose and put it off until I’m ready which used to be the next day. Now it’s a few hours.

This is why I hate working in IT help desk, but sadly that's the first job you gotta get in order to gain experience in IT.

Maybe the reason some people ask that is because they want to give the person a chance to explain instead of assuming that they're rude and stand-offish.

I'm sort of an introvert and she's very definitely an introvert and we connect like nothing that's ever happened to me. We don't talk much that hasn't opened up yet but when we do talk, I do a lot of the touching most of the time and it comes natural like that's our language of love and she likes it. Now I crave closeness with her. I just want to be near her all the time and feel her energy hidden beneath her introverted exterior. I would not be surprised if she felt the same way. I'm working on it very slowly of course.

To me, the phone is a REAL DISTURBANCE!! It is a real WASTE OF TIME!! When applying for any job, as soon as I see answering the phone under responsibilities, I stop right there, and don't apply. Even at home, I stay as far away from the phone as I can!!

We are also very organized, forward thinking, and Analytical. Based on introspection..and intuition.

Why I hate phone calls? They're a big interruption!! Any job application, as soon as I see phone in responsibilities, I throw that application out. Even at home, I stay as far away from the phone as I can!

#4 isn't really ignorant questions. It's personality questions. Being ignorant about a subject is simply not knowing about that subject which makes all questions ignorant questions. This set, in particular, is about personal questions as the introvert IS the subject. We don't like personal questions unless they come from someone we care about and they're asking how were feeling or how our day was.

This is a certain type of introvert that doesn't wear their hearts on their sleeves or face. There is the other type that does. Lol

I make the message on my phone extremely long and talk slowly so that callers get annoyed and hang up. That way I can miss a call and the message.

The question: Why are you so quiet? The answer: Just so you could ask.

Why should we even have to explain, even if it is just with a statement of fact that we're an introvert. The question is rude, on a par, in my opinion, with asking someone "why are you fat?"

I absolutely hate not having time to think/do some research before answering. There’s no need to talk to others, everything can be solved through email/text.

People around me know that I like to daydream and create stories in my head. So I'm usually saying things like "oh, I'm daydreaming" or "Oh, I'm thinking about a story" or "oh, I'm trying to create a character." Or sometimes I just say "I'm enjoying the conversation." meaning that I enjoy the others talking and listening in on them.
