The flutes and piccolos are far too loud, the harps are wasted by putting them at the back of the orchestra, how stupid conductors are.

Between 1:00 and 2:00, there's 3 tunes playing at once. The lively fire theme on the harps, the descending "sleep" theme in the strings, and the "vocal" line on the brass. I generally dislike it when they leave out the vocalists, but it's great to hear the all the orchestration.

I've seen the harps normally staged off center for Wagner. This placement of harps and their elevation made it easier for people not trained on the harp to actually hear them.
