Great video! I'm used to apply the Abbey Road EQ pre-reverb while the ones that come built in the reverbs are post-reverb. So it's an EQ inserted before the reverb plugin. You can then use the EQ in the plugin to shape your reverb without the mud and the top end too piercing.

I have multiple sample libraries for Kontakt that changes speed when you go up and down the keyboard. For example it speeds up at the hi notes and slows down at the low notes. Does Samplerobot have an easy way to fix them?

I have even faster workflow for this: just use one tiny room reverb and send all instruments to that, but in the aux before reverb plugin, insert gain-plugin and swap left & right. Voila!

you will never balance all mix with this trick, only if the orchestra is not fully playing together LOL.....waste of time for mixing reverb between brass, woodwind and strings

What about just flipping L/R on the bus? Then you need only one bus, and it will flip the sides what ever source you feed the bus with. Instead of flipping sides in the end, you could use the Logic pan/balance plugin in the beginning of the chain (don’t remember the name). Some times use of dual mono on the plugins gives the control you need. Dual eq, dual comp, dual reverb. Then you even get a good gain and frequency control on both sides. For even better L/R effect control on each instrument or instrument section, send them via separated buses for control of the L/R before they hit the effect bus. And even better, put on an eq, and comp for solo instruments/vocals for side chain ducking on those pre effect buses. Or is there a specific reason why you use two stereo buses for strings? Or one bus per instrument section?

I purchased sample robot to sample my Roland Integra 7 and so far it's been great. I just have 1 issue, when I started sample the first 128 patches I only saved the 1st selected program 0001 thinking it would save the rest of the 127 programs/patches below. However when I reopened that saved program 0001 the rest of them were not there 0002-0128 and that's when I realized I was supposed to save each program separately. I see the WAV files for all of the programs are in the same folder, so I tried importing them and reconnecting them to the unsaved programs. When I do so, the sample files import with a little space before they play. I'd there a way to get rid of that space on import, or I have to go in manually 1 by 1 to do them all? Please advise.

Reason has a slightly different approach with, like most DAWs, the Balance panning behavior. You then have a width control which lets you pull the signal to mono. This means that you can swing the balance 50% left and narrow the stereo to 50% and you have everything. It also means that you can leave the Balance at center and narrow the stereo of one sound so that it doesn't trample all over other sounds. Effective. :-)

Firstly, Great videos!! Now I have been working on creating my Orchestral Template from scratch since 1 Week and I have tried 4 different approaches. ill just name the final one i found not cpu hungry and that was, loading each instance of Kontakt per channel. So right now I have 64 channels with 64 instances of Kontakt, but all the instruments are purged, And surprisingly the cpu doesn't spike that much. Whereas, I compared it with having multi timbral instances and my cpu went from 0-70% just with 1 track playing 16 out of my string library. Strange!!
