How ofte do you wash the covers??

I would love to see you a video on your daily flow on how you and your assistant manage the stations with the age groups that you have. I am just coming back to family child care after teaching in a school and I'm feeling somewhat defeated being able to teach preschool with the amount of behaviors I am seeing. Some days are much better than others as expected, But would love to see Advice you might have and transitioning Children into your preschool And how you get them to acclimate without just ransacking your space. I am certified Montessori however I find myself leaning back into traditional preschool stations while I give lessons on more intentional and purposeful work.

From the research I've been doing, it says that you need to start with an at home daycare before you can move to a group home daycare. Is that true? I read somewhere that you need to be licensed as an at home daycare for 29 months before you can certify as a group home daycare.

Curious what the training you mentioned was. I could not figure out what you said.

I do home base care in new Zealand our ratio is only 4 children at one time no more than 2 under twos at one time. Love your play space

I am 3 months postpartum. I have a 2-story home. I have four children of my own: 12, 5, 3, and 3 months. I homeschool my children and we spend Tuesdays at co-op. Anyway, I am not sure if I want to share my living space with daycare stuff. I would want ot conveert the garage. That's a major investment, though. I may also only do an after-school program to make time for my own children. Is this possible?

Hi there. I’m in upstate NY but I think our requirements for in home daycare and michigans are relatively similar. My daycare will be downstairs, but my kitchen and bathroom for kids will be upstairs. Do you foresee any issues with this from a licensing perspective? My upstairs is child proofed so I’d bring the kids upstairs for lunch and potty time

So glad i found your channel! I'm in the process of fixing my home for a daycare and have so many questions. If its not too personal I'm guessing you're in CA by the number of kids for large family care, 14 max. I'm trying to figure out how many employees I can pay and still make it worthwhile as a retirement venture. I have a great house and yard and love kids. My youngest just left for college and I'm free to reinvent myself and need to make $ to pay for two in college.

I have a very small home daycare. For Birthdays I have been taking the kids to Walmart and letting the Birthday Child pick out a gift themselves I am willing to go up to $25 for a gift Same as I spend on one of my kids school friends partys
