The video is amazing! The only thing is that to me, it doesn't feel good that you're reading directly from a script (or at least it feels like that to me), it feels a bit weird although the writing is great

Personally, I feel like Folie having a true "finale" song...and then keeps on going, makes it feel more...intentional that it ends on West Coast Smoker. I have no idea what that intentionality says about the album as a whole, but I do know that it was probably not a mistake that West Coast Smoker is the album's finale instead of Donnie

for a very long time, my thoughts on whether panic was doomed from the start of not could've been mostly summed up as "a series of unfortunate circumstances". but then I learned about dallon not leaving the creative writing position of his own volition, and that it was just brendon who demoted him to touring member. so it was brendon's own decision. I feel like the guy is just....not fit to be in a band (that has other members in it) at all. he doesn't like to compromise, he hates when the spotlight isn't on him for a fraction of a second. I've read his official annotations on the genius article for "emperor's new clothes", it was pretty eye-opening. there he literally states, "i am panic at the disco". how much more explicit can you get?

Folie is my favorite FOB album by far and I haven't liked any of their albums since. Stardust is really growing on me and I just recently read that it is the first time they have brought back the same producer they used for FAD and IOH. I was curious to know if you have a similar analysis of Mania, since you actually like that album. I think it is their worst ever, but since your analysis of this was soo amazing and enlightening I was wondering if that might help me appreciate Mania a bit more. Also, I always thought W.A.M.S. stood for "Wet and messy sex".

Do you think that they kept the band name because they signed a deal, (which we know, most deals with a label requires a certain "amount" of records released within a certain time frame), perhaps it would have been too costly to not "fullfil the bands legal obligation" via that contract? Could have bankrupt them all to take it to court and fight out of it, no one else would have signed them afterwards, it could have been detrimental to all of them either way they did this.

Very well put together. I have attempted to look this stuff up myself but got overwhelmed by all the strong options surrounding different band members and so many conflicting reports, so having your video recommended to me was a welcome surprise. An interesting update could be how P!ATD is officially disbanded now and how that came to be, but I suspect people would want that video to turn into a Brendon Urie hate video

Brent Wilson left the band in 2006 by cause lack of responsibility no why they choose Jon in the first place Jon doesn’t just play bass he could sing play guitar & play drums & drums that’s why on May 13 2006 Jon replaced Brent on bass

The oddball album that nobody understood at the time ❤ Even as a huge fallout boy fan (since evening out with your girlfriend days) I wasn’t big on this album at first. However years later I fell in love with it.

My respects, this is a really good video although I should mention something else about the split of the band in 2009. So basically Ryan and Jon were already planning to leave before the last pretty odd show. By that time they already knew something wasn't working. Afterwards they spent months barely talking about the new album so Ryan and Jon decided to sit down with the other two and speak about their situation. They came to the conclusion that the best thing for everybody was to split like they did. So to me it was a consensual decision made by all 4 of them. Amazing video! I love hearing other's analyses of all FOB albums, but this album specifically I love to hear other's takes on because I feel like every time I go back to it I often have a different insight on the lyrics, or they might just have a different meaning for me and where I'm at in my life when I revisit. Such an amazing album, and I love the facts about the band and the press at the time that you brought up, it really makes a difference knowing the headspace of the band while they're working on an album. w.a.m.s. is also one of my favorite songs probably of all time and I had no fucking idea that Pharrell had a part to play in the production of it! That man is EVERYEWHERE!!! This is my first video I'm watching of yours and I'm honestly not even finished with it while writing this, even five minutes in though, I could tell this was gonna be a good watch. Keep it up, I'll definitely be watching more of your work when I finish this masterpiece
