A parte la Breda 20/65 e il 149/40, gli altri sono tutti residuati dalla ww1, buoni solo per la propaganda nei cinegiornali. Ridicolo il 75 A.A. Manca invece l'ottimo 90/53 A.A., Paragonabile all'88 tedesco ma prodotto in 550 esemplari. Ridicola quantità! L'ITALIA non migliora mai.

One of the many things Italia neeeded more of in N. Africa- Trucks ! Because of this, Reinforcements & Supplies etc, had to be shuttled up to the Front; often causing delays in Assaults. This also meant that Italian Soldiers had to walk more than other Armies; again causing problems when falling back.

Noted. By the way, i just recently read "For God and Kaiser" by Richard Bassett about the austrian armies of the Habsburgs between 1619 and 1918. It also deals with a military unfairly downplayed by many.

Alcuni di questi pezzi d artiglieria risalgono alla prima guerra mondiale altri sono stati preda bellica a danno degli austriaci. In Italia le cose sono sempre state fatte in modo approssimativo e improvvisato ieri come oggi. Se vigesse una organizzazione di tipo teutonico l Italia sarebbe la prima potenza economica europea purtroppo non è così e me ne dispaccio.

Well basically , You just have seen the official propaganda movie made in Libya during the war . Italy used largely those mechanized cannons in several types . That's why even without enough tanks , They were able to keep fighting the Alllied .

My grandfather served in the Italian army artillery during the war. He was sent to Greece when Italy invaded that country.
Invaded is ridiculous to say that. It was a piece of cake for greeks your funny army.

Ci sarebbero stati utili più pezzi da 149 che centinaia di pezzi leggeri della prima guerra mondiale... era da fondere tutto quell'acciaio e fare armamenti decenti
L'avremmo fatto perché il patto d'acciaio prevedeva l'inizio della guerra nel 43, ma Hitler la iniziò nel 39 e questo fu uno dei principali fattori per cui eravamo impreparati.
