Shannon loved life and was excited for the future but he was very tired and stressed out from working on the record release, birth of his daughter, Rolling Stone saying Soup was a flop which also took a toll on him mentally, plus throw touring on top of that and general press duties. He wanted to get through it so he could have a break and be with his family but it became easy for him to get a quick fix in hopes of keeping him going with such a busy schedule like he did so many times in the past but it just caught up with him. He lives forever now as a young musician who will continue touching lives and serves as an example of how beautiful, talented and underrated of a human he was and how drugs can be a costly, painful and irreversible mistake. RIP Shannon

Some people do everything wrong and have the world in their hands, while others do everything right and have nothing. The world is like that.. A lot of talent and a lot of weakness. Only a few can handle success.

It's a shame . He disrespected his audience. His audience paid good money to see him. That was a pathetic performance. I had so much respect for his music.
