Even in the church today, the leaders lie. I don't think they even know what is truth. For example, temporary commandments? Teaching spiritual experiences like of old don't happen anymore. Saying old scriptures are not important anymore and only believe the current prophet, even over Christ's words. This information you've provided shows the appalling dishonesty of JFS and others who apparently blindly, or willingly, followed him. Obviously, there was no belief in guiding the church by the spirit. So, the church was already corrupted, and it's terrible how JFS blamed the prophet Joseph Smith. Who did these men follow? Oh, Brigham changed so much of the gospel and took it over that today's church is nothing of what Joseph was restoring. And the leaders today keep changing stuff. It makes me sick at how members worship Brigham and today's prophets, and drag Joseph's name thru the mud. The word of wisdom and paying tithing were not requirements to enter the temple. Now members are forced to pay the church for the club card to enter the temple. The word of wisdom was just advice. Temple clothing and temple doings have been changed. Temple clothing was originally just worn in the temple. Look at the changes made recently in the temple ceremony. God is unchangable, so why are these changes happening? The tithing rule has made the church rich and dishonest. Greed does currupt. The word of wisdom is just another rule enstalled to control members.

I was appalled when I learned the church charges interest on these loans and that the folks have to pay them back. I always thought it was a fund to help, not enslave. It's criminal. The church can afford to give loans without requiring repayment. And don't get me started on the church telling the poor to pay tithing before feeding their families.

Of course I don’t have the full context, but based on what you have shared, your continued belief in the Book of Mormon, Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith… it was not merited. It truly shows that church membership is very dependent on the stake president you have.

I"m poor and a member, being the "needy" family in my ward has been such an eye opener to what charity actually is. So thankful for this video may have saved my membership so MANY RICH church members who treat us like peasants and fools because I didnt choose to be a Mormon bussiness owner because Im not self reliant or "successful" according to church standards I had my calling of Elders Quram president taken away from me, but I thought I was called by the spirit to lead the Elders not my income. What about the temple ordinances itself? What evidence is there that Joseph Smith authored any of the rituals? How do we know the sealing ordinances are valid? I do not trust anything that came from Brigham. And we need to know the succession of authority for sealings actually happened

Careful mate. The Mormon church is literally a mafia. The stake presidents and bishops are fully unaware of the presence of a well armed and trained “shadow hierarchy”. The same “police force” that Brigham used to dispatch his enemies is still very much alive and active. I left the church over 15 years ago because I saw some of the inconsistencies that the church was doing that conflicted with the gospel. I have seen the underbelly, behind the curtain if you will. They are everywhere when you go to temple square or the conference center in salt lake but you will never notice them because they are trained to blend in and become part of the background noise of life. You might think me crazy for claiming the organization that committed the atrocity of Mountain Meadow Massacre is alive and well and is actually thriving within the confines of the modern day Mormon church, it sounds crazy to me as well but I’ve seen and experienced it, and it’s there. Just be careful, this video needs to be shown to every member and prospective member so they can make an informed decision but the church won’t like it and you can be erased unfortunately.

So I recently purchased the original D&C and you're right!! There is no such teaching about polygamy. In fact, the only time it's mentioned is to warn against it and how it's the work of the devil.
