I have never related more to someone than I do Leila, both in terms of not having Facebook and not having other social media feeds and feeling wildly disconnected from those who do. It's hard to connect with anyone on a date when they're so into their phone that I feel like I'm interrupting their date with the internet when we're (theoretically) out on a date. And yes, I watch TH-cam, but I'm not addicted. I watch maybe an hour a day, less when my subscription feeds are boring. Most people spend more time than that on social networking sites, don't @ me.

Using your phone while on a date is just plain simple rude in my opinion.

I found FB very addicting when it was like it is portrayed in this movie. Then I had a period of time where using all that social media was too much for me so I stayed off it. at that time and later, when I tried going back to it, I realized how fake it all is, how addicting that concept of likes is and how it all interferes with my happiness. Nowadays I avoid Facebook. I would not delete my account, because I like looking back at things sometimes. I would like to rearrange it for my needs in the near future and only use it for events, maybe groups and the messenger if needed.
