Namaste and welcome! I'm Sonya, yoga teacher (RYT-500) and NASM-CPT. This channel exists as a way for me to share a few things I’m passionate about: yoga, the medicine of movement, beautiful places around our planet, and composting (which helps keep the planet beautiful.) The easiest way to navigate through here is to check the playlists. You'll find videos for you if you want to try yoga for the first time - or start over from the beginning to develop a strong foundation - or if you already love yoga and are looking for short guided sequences for specific situations like after work, before bed, after a long run, or just to move and feel good! See the Intro to Yoga section if you're starting at the beginning. If you're interested in pranayama/breathing techniques, the Intro section also includes a lot of foundational pranayama. 15-Minute Yoga for Strength & Balance | Intermediate Vinyasa Yoga Flow
This 15-minute yoga sequence is a full body vinyasa yoga flow that especially targets core, upper body and legs. Our theme for this one is anti-gravity: we’re using our body weight and the force of gravity to create resistance to build strength, core power and balance.
The postures you'll be flowing through include bear, locust, plank and fallen star variations, plenty of chaturangas (because what is vinyasa yoga without chaturangas? ;) ), wild thing, lunges, warrior 3 variations, navasana and ardha navasana, twists and more.
No props needed.

Had to comment again as I used this video for a small Yoga sequence in my office yesterday. Was a great hit, thank you! I followed up to a comment recently. Had to mention again, a few of my female colleagues belly buttons showed during the chair stretch/standing overhead parts. Noticed your midriff did too, do you notice that yours does as well from time to time?
I’m so glad you and your colleagues enjoyed the stretch session! Yes, it’s quite normal that when raising arms overhead midriffs may show. I’m not sure why you mention it. Is that a problem for you?

I was thinking the same thing!
There are some really good stretches and the lady in the video is obviously very flexible and has a very nice voice, but as a 52 year old bloke there is no way that I can do the splits let alone move my torso towards the ground in front of me!
Lol, sorry Jonathan, I should have mentioned that the folding forward in the seated wide-legged V is optional! 😊 You can also keep your knees slightly bent if needed. I’m glad you enjoyed some of the stretches, and thank you for your feedback!
