Hello everyone!
My name is Michael Ruglio, A.K.A. "Ruggs." I created Rugsy's Jersey Kitchen to share my passion for food, wine, music, nature, and living the best life one can live.
I was born in Newark, NJ, and spent my early childhood living in a small Italian enclave dubbed "Silver Lake." The day I popped out the astronauts splashed down from the moon and the Woodstock festival in Bethel, New York was just a few weeks away. Psychedelic rock and music of the British Invasion filled the airwaves. Beatlemania had already taken the U.S. by storm. The Vietnam War was in full swing and Richard Nixon was our President. It was a very exciting yet tumultuous time in the United States.
Rugsy's Jersey Kitchen is essentially all the joyful interests I have acquired during my life's journey from birth until now. It's all the good stuff that I have learned to appreciate. If you're looking for a chill show that moves slow, this one is for you.

Welcome to Episode #3 of Rugsy's Jersey Kitchen Finger Lakes Glamping Edition! In this episode, Ruggs puts together one of his favorite dishes inspired by his mom "Raphaella." It is a beautiful combination of locally grown late summer vegetables paired with a local Finger Lakes rose wine from Anthony Road Wine Company. But that's not all! Ruggs makes a fresh loaf of no-knead peasant bread in the campfire ring with a Dutch oven and highlights a local farmers' market you must visit when in the Canandaigua area.
