To be honest, I never really played shaman, so I feel like my answer would be pretty biased but to my best ability of answering it generally, I think ele would be a lot more fun in team fights because of sitting in the back and doing big chain lightning’s with fun crits and being a purging nightmare against other casters. Also having a kick is super nice! Ontop of having grounding totem! You’re also pretty tanky but I feel like way easier to shut down as well. But, for shadow priest, I’d say pick it if you want to be more versatile in bgs you get to do your own thing as an spriest too because everyone hates you for not healing in the first place :P. Spriests are amazing at 1v1s! And in team fights multi dotting can rot a team down especially with a lock on your team. Spriest is a lot of fun because you can have multiple playstyles, being great in both team fight and 1v1s. So tldr; For fun team fights and juicy one shot crits from time to time pick ele! They’re tanky, and have great utility, I feel would be the most fun in bgs for if you are more one shot all dps kind of player and wanna shine on the scoreboard. For a more versatile playstyle pick shadow priest! Can play as a support, great at both 1v1s and team fight, and is more of a Rot playstyle but if you’re pretty geared mind blast hurts sometimes for a ton of damage. @@Bluemushroom1 That's by far the best response i've ever seen in an youtube video, thank you so much for that! I played Shadow in classic re-release and grinded till Rank 10 and it was so much fun and a blast, but in BGs, specially WSG and Arathi, I really felt like my group play was lacking, since we go OOM too fast and we are more 1v1 and skirmishes - that's why i chose to play Shaman this time. I'm currently lvl 38 on my shaman, i F HATE enhance, cant wait to swap to elemental, but i'm being bold on lvling it - its just that, in wpvp while lvling, I miss my shadow habilities! But... once again... tyvm for the words!

Hi! since you're shadow priest I don't think I would run improved mana burn as it. I can't remember it's been a while since I've played vanilla, lol. But there are still a few situations where it's good in 1v1 against other caster's especially other priests or mages if you can manage to get one off. If it's a pure 1v1 though, I wouldn't worry about it.(like a duel or both start at 100% mana HP). Hope I helped. :) Edit: OH ya I wouldn't worry about using it in team fights really unless you see a priest pumping heals and you mana burn spam them safely, but that's a pretty rare situation.

Hi, thanks :)... The offensive disc is just a fun playstyle, it's not really the most useful though if you are planning to push rank with a team, but if you are a solo player I'd say so! This spec is really fun for 1v1s or 2v2 situations because you do good damage alongside your teammates with great supportive heals and damage mitigation. Think of it as like you're a support role from Overwatch if you've ever played that.. you DPS and heal but most likely heal all while managing your mana. It's not an easy way to play disc however because yes you do get trained a LOT unfortunately, but the good news is.. if no one is helping you out you can defend yourself :).

@@Bluemushroom1Appreciate the detailed response! Yeah that‘s what I like about Priest. You can fightback if needed. Pallies seem amazing when it comes to surviving getting trained but they are like a freaking indestructible pinata xD all defense 0 kill power. I will be playing solo mostly in casual bgs and wpvp so I reckon priest would be more fun!

@@SpyZ86 Priest is def more fun! Especially solo play. You can kill you can heal :D, don't forget mana burn, too you will be a menace with that, ooming the enemy is crucial in vanilla, it's also a good bait spell if they wanna kick you and you don't wanna be locked out in holy ;). Have fun and I'll answer any more priest questions in the future :D.

disc is one of my favourites tbh, can literally heal and dps, not sure why it's not more popular.
