มุมมอง 81วันที่ผ่านมา

It always does work, even if you don’t think it did. God always knows better than we do! I really appreciate it, if you grow any crops this year I wish you the same! I’ll take you up on that, just haul an excavator on up here😂

@@Volfarmer I'll bring a 250 Volvo and find a haul truck. I expect it's a rather large boulder. We've been running around getting fields ready for corn, and next month, we'll be harvesting the spring wheat.

Another great video my friend. I have to say, you done bette rthan I did. My second time plowing, I broke 2 shear bolts and folded the plow in half. It was interesting that I went on both sides of a big rock, and not down the middle. But she folded over like a tin can. The second pass going by that stone, it lifted the front end off the ground then popped off. That was how I folded the thing. I do miss farming. it was a part of my life for a long time. Have a gud un.

The only way to learn is to get out there and do it! When you mess up just fix it and learn from your mistakes. That sounds like a hell of a first time plowing, I bet it was a long ass day. I love farming and hope I’m able to have some part in it till the day I die! Hope you have a good one as well, thanks so much for watching and commenting!

@@Volfarmer My granddad always taught me when I messed up, take a step back, and look at the big picture. Then regroup and get back at it. It didn't take us long to repair it, and I got right back at it. We only had three tractors that we used. A Farmall A, Super A, and an H. By the time I was old enough, we had moved on to just tending a 2 acre garden. My cousin had leased our fields, since he had bigger equiment.

I would put in a blind ditch. Drain tile in the ground, instead of an open ditch. It looks like the ground slopes off pretty hard from the highway. That would cause washouts all along an open ditch. Where you were standing at the end, I'd also put a small run off pond towards that big ol tree, probably a 10x10, then run the pipe from the far side of the pond on through the fields, into another ditch, if there's one over that way. One of our fields had a sharp slope to it, that made part of it kinda useless, because of the standing water. We put in over a thousand feet of tile in the ground, and it made a world of difference. Might could use it for a hay field for a year or so, until the ground gets dried out. Just a couple ideas fer ya bud.

Thanks for the great ideas! I would love to have it where you couldn’t tell there was a ditch there. We were thinking about them plastic culvert tiles, but i started looking at the price and got a little hesitant lol. That’s what we want when it’s all said and done, I know for sure we are going to put tile under the road. Hopefully we can just do what you did and put in a bunch of tile in! Hope you have a blessed week, thank you for watching as always!

She sure is, I’m a lucky man. I’ll take all the snow we can get. We usually only get one or two snows that lay, so we have to take advantage of it when we get it. I can’t stand the cold unless there is snow on the ground for some reason, I reckon I ain’t got enough meat on my bones😂 hope you have a gooden as well, and we definitely will keep having fun out in it.
