While Sohn Minsoo was feeling so miserable because of his pupil couldn’t even selected to compete. They are both so matched with each other and very sincere people. It’s hilarious that they can memorize how to play every single piece but forget to write an email. Luckily everything went well.

A performance of ineffable beauty and grace. Yunchan Lim is the true successor to the lamented Youri Egorov, the last great pianist. Kudos also to the completely simpatico partnership of Maestro Chung. He and Lim are completely on the same wave length, and the orchestra plays beautifully.

After you listened to Liszt's Transcendental Etudes at the Van Cliburn Competition, the first thought is complete disbelief, then something along the lines of "why should anyone even play piano anymore?!". I'm old enough and usually the last one to make big proclamations (nowadays, everybody with a piano and fingers seems to be a genius!), but Lim has arrived - and has claimed the title of greatest living pianist. I can only imagine what he will do in the decades to come.

먼저 이 연주를 올려주신 musik님께 감사합니다 페스티발 직후 올라왔었는데 곧 사라져서 몹시 아쉬웠어요 이 연주는 2022년 Van Cliburn 1등 수상 후 2개월만에 한 첫 해외 연주로 알고 있습니다 브람스 멘델스죤 스크리야빈 베토벤 모든 연주가 놀랍고 가슴을 울립니다 연주장도 독특하고 감상하는 관객도 평범하지 않네요 한편의 좋은 영상입니다❤
