I wish they had made bevel caps for the screw holes in the top of that black cover. That's just asking for water and dirt/mud to find its way in there and then turn into concrete.
I am interested to see the screws and other components separated by yarn with 3 cheeseburgers unwrapped and a glove nearby for safety when it gets rainy out
Is the crankcase vent intended to be plugged with the small rubber tube with a bolt? The replacement I got has that same plug, but the bike itself has the vent tube that goes up and around the rear subframe.
Tested on the road it pulls I'd say Mt09 build but more instant on backroads,,, have all the answers to your questions over next few weeks battery life, weight,, how far or long on different power modes ect,, redoing dyno with road tyres knobblys are shit n doubling in size upping gear ratio but did get 755ftlbs,, track test this weekend with some action vids it roosts
@ yep, charge port if fixed to inverter rather than wired to inverter and mounted back a touch. All it means is 1 less connecton in each wire. This has equated to less failures…both are good, gen 1 motors fail for different reasons, gen 1 and 2 are fine with latest software
Thanks! I'd love to see more of the motor controller, including some close-ups of the PCBs to see what the components are, and taking off the bottom cover to see how the FETs or IGBTs are cooled.
Solid vid
I would like to see guts inside the motor such as the windings Style.

All the M6(?) bolts for the power bus bars phase and DC didnt look like they were torqued up properly. Too easy to loosen.

What power mosfets module did they use?
IGBT 420v
@ thanks, do you know the product number?
Hi, is it asynchronous motor, or with magnets?
Email ?
Did you also disassemble the battery pack?

Looks like the upgrade to the gen2 inverter with the charging port may not be too difficult.
Do you happen to know the difference between gen1 and gen2?

im interested to see the insides of the motor itself, good video
Teardown the motor
Yes, please teardown the motor
❤
