I love your projects. How do you deal with the smell of E6000 (especially in the Winter when windows are closed)? Is the Heat and Bond smelly too? TY for response.

Ty. I love this idea. I haven't used the fabric glues because I didn't know how "permanent" they are. I had home ec in the early 80's with my brother. I had to make full outfits with buttons, zippers, and layers. He made a simple dolphin pillow that was legit 3 panels sewn together. He got an A just like I did. I would have rather made a pillow. lol.

How well do these fabric glues hold during laundering?

Will that trim stay on after washing it?

Do you have to do some kind of special dry cleaning or how do you clean these?

I have a bazillion silk and other material scarves. Some have damage. The light heat and bond seem like they would be great for these types of projects.

Good to know that all are not washable unless sewn on. I would like to sew videos on sewing fabric on collar to add a strip. Also doing the same on collar. My clothes needs to be washable.

When using any fabric glue, it is a good idea to weigh it down as it dries, just use a heavy book or anything at hand.

Gorilla Glue has a tube like E6000 and it’s very similar in stickiness but it smells a little better. Some say it sticks less, some say it sticks better. I think it works pretty well though.

Beautiful, please tell me what kind of paper you adhere to the back of the tee shirt before ironing it onto the jacket.
