@@shelly_colours It does not bleed through the paper, no. It’s like using mineral spirits and a brush. You may have some temporary ghosting until the alcohol blender dries. I always advise testing your media out on an inconspicuous spot in the book to see how the paper responds.

@@beverleyquirke5614 I use an AFMAT electric sharpener for 6-12mm diameter pencils :)

This actually has pretty big boxes for a swatch chart. I filmed this video on my old camera setup, so unfortunately couldn’t quite zoom in like I can now.

@@jeanmayo4076 Thanks so much for the watch. This was the only stream for this page, so most of the pomegranate was done off camera. I do have two other lives working on the grasshopper page and a full flip through though.

Can I ask what color you used for the pomegranate? I have polychromous also.

@@jeanmayo4076 Oh gosh, I used maybe 4-5 colors for that piece and didn’t write them down. I tend to just kind of grab and go. I can probably eyeball what I used when I’m back in my office and let you know.

@@antan2631 A lot of it is going to depend on the type of marker as well as the type of paper. Alcohol markers are going to bleed through pretty much any coloring book paper. Waterbased markers are generally pretty safe on most “higher end” paper like what’s in Johanna Basford, Kerby Rosanes, ect. You’ll need to be mindful not to oversaturate the paper though, or you risk bleed through and paper pilling. Books with thinner paper like what’s in Creative Haven books you may have more risk of the marker bleeding through. I always recommend testing your marker on an inconspicuous spot in the book or a page you don’t really care for. In most of my books that don’t have dedicated medium test pages, I use the title page.
