This is a Jenkins extreme brush mower with direct drive. I will have more vids soon. Just out of action currently with a second surgery on my foot. There more than I like to pay but the quality is there. This thing is a beast. Nice new baler by the way. You and CP have a great week

@@sclivestock5943 not much combining done, keeps showering every couple days. But got 900 bales of greenfeed done on 135 acres of oats. Things are yielding well. Lots of good pasture for a few weeks yet for the cows. Hope you are healing well. Been a long road for ya, keep on fighting!!

Mower works excellent. As for the digging in/ wheels. Just tilting the unit back a bit rectifies that. I like looked at other units without suspension and it was a no. Plus this unit has a full roller at the back to prevent debris kick back. Price was hard to swallow but so far the unit works very well. Thanks for the comment

So I did a test spot of approximately 3 acres. It needed a trimming anyway’s as young poplar were sprouting up. Agreed if doing a large amount a swather would work better. Hopefully the rain does show up this week as forecasted to give it a boost.

@@sclivestock5943 how a year changes. In the spring we were so shy of moisture and you guys were plenty wet, now I’d like it to go away for awhile so I can get greenfeed done.

@@chadtosh6831lol be careful what you wish for. Every time they forecast rain for us now, when the time comes it turns into sun. You can send your moisture my way for a few days.🍻

Hey Chad. It’s been a hell of a battle. Since I had the tumour removed from the bottom my foot which entailed most of my heel and arch out. It’s been slow moving. Can’t really walk on it get a walk on the front pad of my foot but little I’m allowed and my mobility is at a crawl, so to say. Turned out great for us except I can’t run a tractor. The boss lady isn’t capable. My brother-in-law is not healthy, so I’m looking at having someone come in in Custom cut it. If I were to walk into my hayfield right now, the hay would be chest tie beautiful out there so she needs to be cut down. Plan was just for grazing, but I think I need to take that hay down, worst cases though there won’t be any second cut. It’s just too dang hot. Doesn’t look like any rain in the near future but we sure got lots in the spring. What are Hay prices like up your way I’m looking at buying some hay from a neighbour here at $.10 a pound alfalfa Orchard grass Timothy mix and their 1400 pound bales. Very nice looking product. @@sclivestock5943 had 3 inch thunderstorm last night with wind. Laid 30 acres of oats down in one field out of 100 acres. Good thing I was gonna greenfeed that one and have a discbine to suck it up. Hay isn’t bad here. Running 2-3 big bales an acre, had sweet clover run over 4 bales. Hay seems about the same in price up here so far, but maybe it’ll drop a bit as more is harvested. Seems to be more around.

@@chadtosh6831there does seem to be a bit oh hay around. That sucks on that being laid down. We seem to get a thunderstorm every couple days. Currently under a warning now. Take it easy🍺🍻

Thanks Dane. It’s been a rough recovery. The foot is quite painful. Something else going on. A lot of shoulder/spine pain. No appetite and lost 14 pounds in 23 days. Boss lady is doing a great job watching over the heard. Still not allowed walking fully on my foot. Maybe next video. Take care.

Herd is looking great. Doesn’t look like they are missing very many meals. Hopefully you can be up and going soon.

I am sure it’s hard to not be mobile. So many things to do and this is the time to do it. But don’t worry the work will be waiting. Though this year has been nice with the rain. Finally have green pastures. Keeping busy with hay.

Grass is growing very nice this year. We are trying the paddocks to see if it helps stretch the feed. Little more work. Have a good week.

Have not seen any bears here in a long while. Coyotes need a good thinning. Good idea to carry a peace maker. Be safe.

The cows are some happy to have the green grass. The new bull is definitely eager but just a bit early. He is in solitary confinement now. lol

He did do a decent job. It’s approx 6 acres. He could go deeper as a subsoil but that comes with a higher price tag.
