My erides motor overheated in 80 degrees and only going 20mph im just wondering if this is normal and im kinda scared to. ride it again i case i mess. it up more so if any one knows if its normal please lmk
It doesn't seem impossible. I have had the motor and battery overheat in cooler temps than that. I'd say reach out to support to see what they say but you should be fine

mabye it is faster than talaria mx4, but the loss of power from 30% is something that would really annoy me
it’s usually the same deal on a dirtbike when putting new bars on you gotta put the levers and throttle on before you actually mount the bars

Just saw this video. Dont know if you have one, but have you considering updating a new controller? It might work to help you go top speed.
And hows the battery life woods riding like you are do ypu get a good 3 hrs out of it ?
Did ypu look into surron as well im trying to choose and leaning towards e ride because it comes out of box with what most ppl mod surron to be but not shure about reliability

how did you get 63MPH on this? thats not possible , 55MPh is max that RPMs will let you go with stock contorller

Good video. Ppl crack me up though saying junk or that’s why electric sucks! If you run a gas engine at its max rpm for to long it will over heat or “blow up”. Everything has a limit that can be exceeded in certain situations. I’ll take that bike outa the box over ANYTHING else on the market today!

Honestly I dont see many people riding the bike like this at high speeds for long durations of time, so i dont think manyyy people will have issues with it however this is a good video in case anything ever does happen

I cant decide between this, an electric motion trial bike or the stark varg. The eride pro ss would be the cheapest but also quality wise the worst of those 3. The electric motion is mainly for trial so maybe not so much fun as the eride. And the stark would be amazing but also very expensive.
What was the distance you drove it?
It’s nice to see a young man do his work on what you wanted. Plus you paid for it. Not with parents money. Good for you. I am 64 and that’s how I do it. I am waiting on a V3 Goat.

I’ve got the 24’ pro SS & the Talaria MX4 Like to ride the Eride in the day. The Sting at night cause it’s quieter. So satisfied with both for the purposes I intended them for.

I don't think that bike is made to run at full speed all the time. In fact, no vehicle.
I can hold my Honda Grom wide open till it runs out of fuel !! The ebike motor sounds like metal on metal scraping away ! Sounds very unreliable .
@@trevorgifford8917 I do not recommend it because the motor will wear out fast. They are not made for that. And generally, that motor is loud.

how long can you ride for before the battery dies im thinking of getting one but I wanna be able to ride for a long time or for atleast a good few hours
I can get a good 30-40 miles worth of riding the way I ride. If you are spending a lot of time in higher speeds (45+) you will get much less range but I'd say no less than 25 miles. If you ride conservatively or on trails, you can expect upwards of 50 miles of range!

@@NoName69696 Well, the amount of hours I get on charge greatly depends on many factors. Speed for one, Elevation gain/decent, terrain, even wind resistance plays a role. If I had to give a good estimate, I would say I can get about 2-3 hours of "fun" riding. If I am just chilling on a bike path on flat ground doing 15mph I could probably get 4 hours (60 miles). If I'm riding fast to get somewhere in a timely manner I could probably go for an hour. Maybe a little more (40mph, 1ish hours, 40 miles). If I am going as fast as possible, I could probably cut it down to less than an hour (55mph, 30 minutes, 27ish miles) although at those speeds, the battery will overheat if sustained for that long (as shown in one of my previous videos). Hope this answers your questions.

Did you order your ERide from voro motors or their website?
I ordered my bike from erides official website. I will say it might be better to go through revrides at the moment because they have a deal where you get free warp 9 bars with a discount code from another TH-camr. I don't recall the channel but he just recently uploaded a video on the pro ss.

Not usually! But it can depend on the park!

That may be true! Personally I see it as a shortcoming of the bike, however ultimately I love the bike and am happy with my purchase. See if you can ride one then make the decision for yourself. It sure is a fun bike.
