Just bought one of these b7f and doing a full rebuild after sea damage 2007 with only 7k miles currently in the rebuild stage now
Did you get the vibration in the tank / seat area like with other K650's? I've often thought of the 650 as a good lower cost touring bike, what's your thoughts?
I personally think it's a great lower cost touring bike, feels OK on the road, it was my first ride on this Versys 650, enough power for solo riding, handles great for this type of bike just does the job. I didn't notice any vibrations and the seat is quite soft.
Cool, what’s with the body cavity search gloves though?
I fitted a faco screen off Ebay on mine made it 5mph faster and with improved comfort (less wind blastbon chest area) strange but true.

Not that many 😉 - Fuel tank, rear tail, front mud guard, wider radial tyres (read made tubeless), mirrors, slightly repositioned front headlight,
i have the same ped but it wont go above 45 any help?
I'm guessing this bike has been sold, but can I ask how would it fair filtering through city traffic? I've seen one and thinking of getting it as its a decent price but not really seen any vids of it filtering in traffic, which would be one of my main uses living in the 'big smoke' so to speak.

What quick shifter install on bike? healtech? Because i dont find any quickshifter for mk1 <2001year, and dont know can i install healtech healtech on my 1998 bandit 1200
It has no quickshifter, just good throttle timing 😊

You do know that the speedo on these bikes is way out? 74 mph indicated is probably less than 64 mph as the Benelli calibration is probably 12-14% fast. But I think you can change the display to show gps speed by going into the cc menu system.

Yes. This scooter is piaggio name but it is made by zongshen. I have one and it is very reliable. I only had to replace my mirrors after i crashed😂

Obviously the oil corroded the plastic which is why I will never use oil in my cars 😡

Are those gears plastic??
Yes they are plastic. The water pump has seized and the middle one kept going until it lost its all teeth. If you carry on going and don't stop the engine, it will seize due to oil starvation (all the broken gear pieces land up in the oil strainer). The best part is that it sounds and runs just normal when started cold.

I ride a honda vision 110 I belive for work, and goes 65mph alright suppose for a ped anyway 🤔
Get a Malossi multivar and a malossi torq driver and get it set up on a test bench, some lighter weights in the vario and the torq driver will get you a lot more acceleration, the malossi multivar vario wil get you 10mph more top speed as well.
and if that's not enough, get a bigger bore cilinder kit from malossi or polini (gets you up to 190cc). In the netherlands we put these engines on 50cc versions of the fly, I've seen ones that get up to 130kph and pull auto wheelies whithout much tuning

I got a 1993 GS125 that has been nothing but trouble since buying it nearly a year ago took it yesterday and ran like a dream. doesn't idle still but ran well I was going 60 down country roads no trouble even with a smashed Speedo only reasonn I knew my speed was cause my dad was following me as I had no high beam and had no way to get it home
If your bike dones't want to idle, it may be a good idea to check the carburettor if it's not dirty inside, also if it doesn't have any vacuum leaks.
