As somebody who has lost and won in love, date who ever you want to date. Whatever your heart tells you. Its hard enough to be in a relationship, don't be choosy on things that are superficial. Be grateful if somebody is ever interested in you in the first place, and if there is a connection, real chemistry, that's so rare that you should cherish that person if they also feel the same way.

I am an Asian woman. This is what I have to say. C'mon Asian women, give our men a chance! Quit chasing after the modern western man. There are a lot of good Asian men out there and we have to give them a chance. My husband is Asian and doesn't make a lot of money but I love him. Now I love him because I love God. But that's a discussion for another day. We should be uplifting our Asian husbands to be the best version of themselves spiritually, mentally and physically.

I'm Polish and I've lived in an apartment my whole life. It's unstastainable for a large population to not congragate and build dense urban areas. I would counterpoint that aparment's suck with - aparments suck in the US. I've never had regular issues with losing sleep over noisy neighoors. My girlfriend moved from a quaint village and she appreciates city living and she can visit her parents there whenever she wants because there is a local train going there few times a day. Your experience is truly sad and I pity you, but the problem is systemic. Comfortable city living is worth fighting for.

I feel the same way. I just cannot find a quiet apartment in my city. It's not neighbors mostly, as the walls are thick, but rather the noises of the city. The roads dry out all the energy throughout the day, and the ACs make you crazy at night. And you're right, it strips away the internal locus of control. There's nowhere to runaway from this shit.

I don't understand the obsession with wanting to be Chad or Tyrone or lusting after the white women. Even men from those visible races are having issues if they're not 6'5 yada yada yada. Put your head down, save a lot of money while dodging hoes (from all races btw) and reach the top when you're still young so you can actually enjoy life. Hopefully along the way you learned what a non-crazy woman looks like and maybe settle with one. Maybe not. It's fine either way. As a white guy who was invisible most of my life, I think the biggest part is really just your physique. As soon as you hit the gym and start looking strong -- women and men of all races here in America start looking at you with respect. I think modern asian and white guys are raised to compete intellectually and less physically -- and it's a death sentence in the dating market for us. As soon as you develop a physique you'll have women. Even strong morons have women. It's shallow and ridiculous, but it's also the truth. The program Starting Strength changed my life.

I've been invisible my whole life but idk how much of that has to do with being asian vs just being a guy. I know most guys feel completely invisible by default, asian or not.

It happen to all of Asian cultures

I'm half-Asian and I noticed that there's like 100 WMAF to every AMWF couple. As a half-Asian guy I feel my chances are way way way worse than a white guy. I wonder if these white guys knew that, they'd feel at least a little guilty, especially since their sons are going to be Asian guys. I also find black and mixed race black women as well as Indian / dark skinned Latinas way way way way more attractive than white women.

As a black woman the dating market is really sucky for us as well. The overwhelming stereotypes about us, I feel severely hinder us especially in online dating in my experience. I’m one of the few black women who is open to dating anyone of any race and it was very hurtful to have (mostly white and Hispanic men) purely sexualizing me. I’ve literally had white men tell me they wanted to have sex with me just so they could experience what it’s like being with a black woman before they die. As if our vjs are different from other women lol. Told a guy that before. I say all this to say I think black women can relate to a lot of what Asian men go through. I wouldn’t say we are invisible per se due to the hyper sexuality the media portrays. But the objectification and dehumanization is very real. Thanks for sharing your story.

It's very clear Hollywood, who pretends to be liberal, shows Asian men as weak and timid. In real top 3% tax payers are half Asians (Indian + Chinese + Korean etc).
