I know this was three years ago now, but I did this portion of the OT last year around the same time you're doing it, and like you, I got rained out and took a zero day at Queen Wilhelmina. One of the most memorable moments for me on the whole trail was hearing the rushing water deep underground beneath some of the rock glaciers heading east on the trail from QW. I was curious if you encountered that same phenomenon.

I dont think people realize the amount of effort you put into these videos. Drone, underwater go pro and regular video camera. Its one thing to shoot but quite another to edit and add music to complete the story Jeremy and family thank you for sharing your trip.

I live in oregon and love spring bear season and watch just about every video i can find but please lay off the music some look at other succesfull channels the amount of music is minimal if any not every one has the same taste in music

I am looking at Idaho Utah and Montana next spring season. I live right at the Arkansas/Missouri state line. I live in Arkansas. I am putting a new rifle to take. I just bought a new Browning rifle. A Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed LR 280AI. Now have to decide on a scope. I am want one around a 4x16x44mm size. In a Leupold Huskemaw or Zeiss scope. I am wanting to turkey hunt too. Looking at maybe 10 to 12 day hunt. On public land hopefully.

Thanks for doing this. Nice job. I plan to share this with my friends who always ask what they can do outside near Little Rock. I have been fortunate my whole life to live very close to state parks. Growing up in New York I was just steps from Harriman and Bear Mountain state parks and now living in West LR I am only five minutes from it.

I used to duck hunt there in the 1970 's. It was incredible. My how the marsh has changed! Great videographyy! Thanks, Barry

We had a place up the road from where you stayed back in the 70's and early 80's up behind that old white school house by the freeway access.

Great job! Love spring bear in Montana and Idaho. Spent a time or two near camels hump but mostly hunt the west end across 90 on the border. Appreciate the effort to produce the video.

I have lived in Oklahoma all my life and have wanted to hike that trail, & trails into Arkansas. Mena just on the end of the scenic drive would be my choice to stop at as its 56 miles to Talimena State Park where you started. I hope to hike it soon. Great video about the OT,

Thanks for posting the video! And for a good cause too!!! Its helpful for my curiosity. I plan on taking my brothers and a lot of water to do the first section. We finished the Lone Star Hiking Trail thru hike and this is next on the list. But we wanna check out parts of it first before we commit to a thru hike of the Ouachita. Any wisdom youre willing to give out about the trail?

Looks like another great day for you and the others. All in all some mighty fine shooting. I only practice to 60 on my home 3-d course. Naturally, I don’t shoot deer at that distance but I’ve hit a couple coyotes and pigs at that range. Don’t care if I recover either as they are pests anyway. To be honest, I’ve never really wanted to attend a TAC as the distances are a little crazy. But, It’s great so many enjoy these things. One thing for sure a shoot like that will let all the form flaws show up lol. 👍👍🐗🦃🦌🐏🐖
