Kali
Kali is an angry eater, lol
Kali was a very aggressive mare at feeding time. Very impatient and kicks at the nearby horses even when in stalls. She has learned to respect me and other humans when it is feeding time and is a bit less reactive to them if we are in the stall with her. She no longer threatens or comes at me/us. It all starts with ground work. Those videos are coming, to support this one.

Missy came with some serious food aggression and anxiety issues. She may seem bad now but she used to connect with teeth and aim to hurt. She has come a long way and really is trying so hard to keep being better💖

Creed did incredible on his body control but was a superstar at the obstacles. This was the only one I got on video unfortunately but it was his finale! I could not be more proud of this boy!!!

Presley hit some stumbling blocks today on the obstacle course. A tree limb crashed into the fence right before our session and it obviously unnerved her. She still tried and had some great moments.

After crossing the river there was a steep bank up to the trails and there are a lot of fallen trees. I was tripped up by a vine under leaves and fell. Instead of spooking or reacting away he immediately stepped towards me and lowered his head to see if I was okay. These days have really built a bond between us❤️

Second day for a longer walk. After some playing in the water we crossed the river to go to the forest trails. We had fun seeing who could make a bigger splash with our feet. He won, lol

Pinning ears is unacceptable and a warning that should not be ignored. You should make her stand away from you and stay there until you are finished putting her food in then give her a que like "ok" when she is allowed to go to her food. Watch Steve Young. He's an excellent trainer very kind and very thorough. Safety should always be first!
Steve is an angel for our equine friends. With this mare there was one mis-cue and it is really hindering her from moving forward. She was offered a treat before her food.... the reward for her doing as you are asking is 1. The pressure stops and 2. The food is the treat

This is so awesome to watch! Kali really is the herd protector. It's wild watching Kali and Missy in unison.
Looks like Presley is warming up quickly. She is smart too. Beautiful to see the progress for both of them. Creed is making some progress. Difficult with both of them at the same time
