Make the Best Mashed Potatoes in the World with This Method
Making mashed potatoes is a very simple and easy task, but I'm sure that if you use my method, you'll achieve a more delicious and richer flavor.
In this video, I’ll show you how to make mashed potatoes using a new and straightforward technique. This method preserves the natural and delicious taste of the potatoes, and instead of using water for cooking, I use milk to achieve a creamier and smoother texture.
This method keeps all the flavor and nutrients of the potatoes intact. By using a small amount of milk or water, the potatoes cook in a way that no liquid needs to be discarded after steaming. Join me to learn the tips and tricks for this recipe.
Ingredients for Two Servings:
Potatoes: 500 grams (about 1.1 pounds)
Butter: 20 grams (about 0.7 ounces)
Milk: 300 milliliters (about 1.3 cups)
Cream: 30 grams (about 1 ounce)
Salt and white or black pepper, to taste
Important Cooking Tips:
1-Slice the potatoes as shown in the video; they should not be too thin or too thick.
2-During cooking, make sure the potatoes do not break apart.
3-You can use water instead of milk if preferred.
4-The cooking of this mash is done in two stages:
Cook for the first 30 minutes with just milk and butter,
After that, add the remaining ingredients and cook for another 30 minutes.
5-Cook on very low heat.
6-Stir the ingredients frequently during cooking to prevent sticking.
7-Once the sauce reaches the desired thickness, blend the potatoes.
