My Embarrassing Sleep Paralysis Experience
Happy Halloween!
For a fun little video I wanted to talk about and animate my experience with sleep paralysis, more specifically the first time I ever had it. I was terrified of it for years so was it as scary as I thought? Well, not quite...

      @@musiclover4ever05 Yeah for PAL at least. It seems Australia got very few physical copies and I don’t recall it being available on Amazon in my area at the time (at least for a decent price) I ended up getting it half price digitally though! Yeah physical collecting is super fun! The hard part is moving them all though which I will have to deal with next year…

    I have started learning Japanese on Duolingo and had a 60-day streak. However, I also realised that it was stressful not knowing hiragana and katakana fully so learning grammar, kranji, and other rules were hard. 😢 I am going to learn them as your advice and will jump in back to Duolingo to learn more sentence structures and Kanji, etc as well.

    I recommend kana (for hiragana and katakana learning), benkyo (for learning kanji). Duolingo is a good start but theres alot of blanks you have to fill knowledge wise.

    1:25 that’s how I used to sort my Game Boy games when I was a kid. I could map out events in my life by remembering when I got a certain game. Maybe it has something to do with me having a photographic memory? Does any of that sound similar to your experience?

    • @CameronHanashi
      @CameronHanashi หลายเดือนก่อน

      Huh that's actually really interesting! I definitely don't have photographic memory but I have a very visual based memory (not sure if that's the standard though). I don't tend to map events in my life by remembering specific things, I just visualise a calendar and almost have events written on the calendar which then act as triggers for memories. Interesting stuff regardless, thanks for commenting!

    I ve been using duo lingo for a month and decided to see a private native Japanese instructor to help accelerate my learning. The one major flaw we both noticed from the app is that the phrases used in Duo Lingo are considered rude or too comfortable to be used around people you barely know or someone in a professional setting.

    I tried Duolingo years ago, but I didn't like all the ads and stuff for the free version. I ended up using the Refold method with lots of Anki (JP1K deck and self made sentence cards) and native input with supplemental learning from NativShark. It was a pretty good way to build up my vocabulary and grammar knowledge as a beginner.

    First of all, (sorry for typing so much and don't feel like you have to read this or reply, I just relate to everything you mentioned and have been invested in your videos/journey since I started watching your videos, It's always meant so much how you've replied to my comments in the past.) I just want to say that your editing has been great in my opinion! Also, sketching out your storyboard for your videos is genius! I'll have to remember that as I make different kinds of videos too haha. Aside from that though, as of late, I very much relate to your struggles. I finally got my first long-form video out (*yayyy!!*), and have been working on the next one for what feels like FAR too long. It's a draw with me of a drawing I worked over 10 hours on, and now I'm in the script writing stages, but I've felt myself growing insecure, as this is a project that is dear to me, but I know it will probably not be seen by many. I've also worried about not being able to do my drawing justice with my words I put alongside it, and that I might end up making people who DO watch it bored. I've felt this way for about a week, but I'm just getting over it, and am ready to work hard and get it out there so I can continue on to my next ideas (which I'm very excited for hehe). My process so far has turned out to be similar to yours, although different haha. I keep all my ideas jumbled up in my notes app on my phone, and then when I decide what I'm going to do, I also script it out in docs. The funny thing is that on my last video I uploaded several PNG's of my little "me" drawing-- and M A N U A L L Y edited them in according to what I was saying LOL. (this took hours to do lol) I also heavily relate to the decision paralysis. I try to avoid it, and try to learn how I can better manage my time, but it pains me that I can't seem to figure out how to fit everything in. Everything from playing music, learning japanese, making videos, actually doing art to improve, playing this or that game that I wanna finish, spending time with friends or family, doing all the housework, and so on. It becomes overwhelming, to the point that I find myself back at square one eventually, only doing the bare minimum and gradually working myself up again. I've been fighting against it lately and try to force myself to keep healthy habits at the very least. My "bare minimum" now, is LEAGUES above what my bare minimum was about a year ago. Anyway, thank you so much for uploading! I really look forward to every video you make and look forward to see how you grow! :D
