31 Week PREGNANCY UPDATE | Feeling Tons of Baby Hiccups, Baby Name Struggles, and Peeing My Pants?!
In this video, I share all of the details about my 31st week of pregnancy. I'll tell you all about my 31 week pregnancy symptoms. I'm happy to share that some of the unpleasant symptoms that I've been experiencing over the past several weeks, like exhaustion and migraines, have improved a bit this week! I've still been feeling quite a few braxton hicks contractions and even had a few more painful contractions intermittently this week.
I had two firsts for this pregnancy this week...First, I peed my pants when I sneezed, which is a bit embarrassing to admit, but also comical. Second, and much more sweet and exciting...I've been feeling tons of baby hiccups!
Finally, our baby still has no name! My husband and I have really been struggling to come up with a name that we both love...please leave any suggestions in the comments!
Welcome to my channel...I'm so happy to have you here! I'd love to talk to you, so please introduce yourself in the comments and don't be shy!

Thanks for sharing your story. We are also on the fence for a 4th baby. Our dilemma is having no help. Already have a 7 yr , 2.5 yr and 7 mo old with the latter 2 being home with us. At least 7 yr old has school. What makes me worried is my mental health having to handle 2 toddlers and a new born at home if we were to hv the 4th one. At the same time both of us have always wanted 4 children. Do I suck it up and hv the 4th or stop? It is so hard to decide.

Need advice I have 3 kids 12.11 and nearly 1. My partner would like the idea of having a slibling for the youngest but i think its a high risk and it luck if everything goes well. Since her 3rd hecwas premature with c.p which is a reality to what can happen. Also im worried incase it didnt go well and my partners health and i wouldnt want to gamble and take that risk when our youngest was perfect and my partner was healing fast and good. She is 37 but the stress of rising two babies at close ages with no extra family help and myself at work is alot for my partner remember theres another 2 to think of. Any suggestions??????? Thanks

My third baby is now 9 months old and the stress of feeling like I need a plan for the future is killing me. I only planned for 3 and simply didnt plan this far. I am already experiencing family criticism not to have a 4th because they actually claim to regret having as many as they did. I think i would definitely wait until my 3rd is 3 to try to get pregnant again but i am actually terrified of contraceptive failure because i am freakishly fertile. Your video is so soothing to hear because it reassures me that whether or not i choose to have another baby, i will never feel ready and shouldn’t live to please people

This video was SO enormously helpful. Thank you for putting this discussion out there. You’ve settled my heart so much on the daily spin cycle I feel my emotions have been going through for the past several months. Because we’re the same - it’s the fear of the first 2 years postpartum that’s got us caught up on the decision. But newborn/baby/toddler is such a short window of time; the big picture is what we’re aiming for, and this really helped me to set my mind on that long game ❤️

Did all go ok with your pregnancy? Hope so. I’ve heard bad things from the vaccine and pregnant women. ( Women I know said she went a month over her due date and her doctor in Santa Barbara admitted that doctors are seeing this a lot now as a result of woman who took the vaccine that women are going far over their due date) And then I didn’t see any updates of baby I hope everything is ok? We are trying to have have a baby now after miscarriage is a hard road.

It’s like you were reading my mind. I keep flip flopping wanting a 4th baby and my husband and I are talking about it. He says we definitely can’t start trying right away but we also have no time set. I’m always the one that wants more babies and I really want to make sure my husband is really wanting to have a 4th. I just don’t want him to say yes to make me happy. We definitely have more talking to do but this definitely helped me and my thought process. also your kids age difference is almost exactly the same as mine…we just went girl, girl, boy. Lol they are all so close in age which is exhausting sometimes but I do love seeing how close they are and each others best friends. ❤️

Why would anyone judge someone for having kids? Fertility rates worldwide are cratering. Unless one buys hard into the "anti-natalist" idea that humans need to stop reproducing to save Mother Earth, we should be encouraging people to have more kids, since more and more people are refusing to do so.

I’ve also been diagnosed with PCOS and as I get older my periods are becoming harder and harder to arrive. After I have taken the COVID vaccine 💉 (I got Maternal for my first shot, and Pfizer for my second shot) my periods have been more frequent without me being able to track it. My gynaecologist has prescribed some medication for me. Where you take it for 10 days and then after 10 days your period should come. Once my period is here my gynaecologist has informed me, that I need to start taking another set of medication on day five today nine in order to try to conceive. She said I need to take this for three months. However I don’t really have high hopes on my TTC journey. I’ve been trying naturally to conserve Since December 2020 and I have yet to become pregnant. I feel very down and many times I feel like crying however I still try to put a smile on my face every day. It’s very hard to go through a journey knowing that you might not be able to become a mother. While I look at other women who should not have children they gets to conceive in a blink of an eye. I’m glad you were pregnant with your fourth and may God bless you.

I got the Pfizer vaccine at 29 weeks. I feel great. Less stressed and glad I waited until baby was a little bigger. No real science to that other than my own comfort. I am a scientist and trust other scientists in my field. For any woman fearing the vaccine all I can say is this - life is not without risk… ever. It’s a risk to get the vaccine, sure. It’s a risk not to. We must use our best judgement and discernment in this world when we make decisions. We must educate ourselves to the best of our abilities and always trust our gut. When decisions are made with the best intentions, the rest is up to the universe. Do what resonates for you and keep opinions and judgements of others to yourself. We are all fighting our own battles. We are all walking each other home. ❤️

I'm sorry to hear that you have these extra factors to consider. Has your doctor given you an opinion on whether the vaccine would be safe in your situation? My employer recently mandated the vaccine for all employees too-I'm incredibly thankful that I made the decision to get it prior to their mandate, so that I didn't feel forced into getting it and was able to make the best choice for myself and my baby on my own free will. Hopefully, you will at least have some peace now in knowing that you and your baby are better protected, as scary as the whole situation is...you're getting so close to having your precious baby in your arms! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

This was helpful hearing your story. I'm currently praying about whether we shouldn't have a fourth. I definitely want a fourth, but I've been recently feeling like I should open my hands to God about this, instead of just trying to make it happen, simply because I want it. It's hard though. I've been praying for a clear answer. I know if it's a no, I'm going to be really sad though.

I'm glad to hear that this was helpful. I found myself in a very similar position to what you're describing as we were trying to make our decision. Every time I would think that I made up my mind to have a fourth, I would start second guessing myself and wonder if I was really meant to have a fourth or if I was just being selfish. There truly are so many factors to consider and it can be overwhelming. Praying that you will find clarity soon and that you will be at peace with whatever the answer is...

I don't think it's selfish to want to have another child, unless you manifestly don't have the ability to support it. The "overpopulation" thing is a myth. Just go for it!

Well, I'm due in October with #4! And, man, it's been my first high risk pregnancy. starting at 10 weeks I had hemorrhaging and developed a chronic placental abruption. We thought we would likely lose the baby. The doctors were giving me 50/50 odds of survival for months. I was placed on strict bedrest and pelvic rest for 3.5 months and we had to hire a nanny since my older kids were still so young (oldest is 4 years, youngest was 1yr) I could not care for them with the restrictions. Our whole church and our friends were praying for us like crazy, and God kept caring for us through the whole experience. Last month, at 23 weeks, miraculously we found out that the very large hemorrhage and placenta had quite suddenly and completely healed in just 2 weeks (Up to week 19 it had just continued to grow, and only started to shrink at 21 weeks). Now I'm 28 weeks and baby is perfect. What a journey. I'm so glad I struggled through the decision to have a fourth child until I had peace to move forward. When we decided to have another, we were confident it was the right decision. And, man, this pregnancy has been such a growing experience in our faith. God has taught us so much about depending on Him and others. We had to let go of control, because even the best doctors couldn't fix what was happening. Only God had any control over the outcome. I also feel very confident this is our LAST now. Something I did not feel after our third. No more pregnancy for me! Can't wait to meet this miracle baby boy!

I just took mine yesterday. First Doze, I’m 27 weeks. It’s FDA Approved. I have 3 boys. My older son goes to high school. First week and a kid in his class got Covid19 and my son because he is in that class, with k92 😷, now is in quarantine for 14 days. B

I’m glad that you were able to get your first dose. I definitely felt some relief after getting mine. My 6 and 4 year old boys are both in school this year and I worry about them getting quarantined constantly due to classmates testing positive. Sorry to hear that your son is already quarantined 😕 I’m nervous to see how this school year pans out for everyone with covid and quarantining...

My goal in making this video was to help other pregnant mamas feel less alone in their experience. It really is such a personal decision...good luck to you as you decide what’s best for you and your sweet baby!

Hello! I did get blood testing done at the same time as my NT scan to test for genetic abnormalities, such as Down’s syndrome. I’m not sure exactly which blood test this was or through which company that does NIPT. We did not find out the gender with this test...I’m not sure if my doctor has that information...I didn’t even ask because I’m determined for this baby to be a surprise gender and didn’t want to be tempted! 😊

Congratulations! You shouldn't apologize for how you appear - I hear so many women apologizing for what they look like, "Oh, sorry my skin is so dry" or "I'm so sorry my nails look awful" - we apologize our WHOLE LIVES.... who cares if we've taken care of three kids and worked out and we look a little tired?? I loved how, when you were approaching. your husband, his foot started bouncing nervously immediately! But you're right, he was very calm and would have made me feel a lot less anxious about the situation. Babies are perfection. This is very exciting for your family. Congratulations again!

      @kelceevibrant2963 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you so much! I so appreciate your kind words. YOU ARE SO CORRECT about apologizing for our appearances! As women, we are so conditioned to think and act a certain way and to portray that we always have our lives and ourselves 100% together at all times. This leads to a toxic culture where other moms end up feeling “less than” because they see the “perfect” image that others work to tirelessly to keep up. I definitely want to show the imperfections on this channel so that other moms can relate and realize they’re not alone...and that they don’t need to apologize either! Clearly this is something I’m still working on myself! Again, thank you for this insight and encouragement!

You're welcome! When I was making my decision, I found quite a bit of "information" about the vaccine related to pregnancy, but didn't have a lot of other pregnant women around me that understood my situation first hand to discuss things with. I'm hoping that this video may help others to feel less isolated and alone in making their decisions. I definitely don't judge you for making a different decision than me...there really is no right or wrong answer at this point, since everything is so new. We're all just doing our best to protect our precious babies! Good luck to you!

Congratulations on 10 weeks!! Also I think that’s really cool that you’re a nurse I saw that in your Covid video. Are you still working full-time and are the other children in school so that you can go to work? I’ll probably go back to work when my daughter goes into kindergarten which is going to be so weird being out of work for five years. I’m glad everything is going so well for you! 😁

Thank you! I love being a nurse...most days! 😉 Until last year, I was working 24 hours each week ever since my oldest son was born. Over the past year, I've been fortunate to be able to cut back my hours quite a bit to be home with my babies more. I had been working only a few shifts per month recently, but with covid ramping up and short staffing, I've been trying to work a bit more to help out. Working less hours has definitely required us to make some sacrifices, but I wouldn't change it for the world...I'm so happy and thankful to have had more time to be home with my kids! They're growing up way too quickly and time is precious! I'm so glad that you've been able to be home with your daughter as well!
