Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. We have successfully found homes for all the kittens we have had thus far and haven't had any of the issues you mentioned. The issues you mentioned sound fairly traumatic. With this particular batch we actually only have one kitten left as the other 5 have new homes with caring families.

Yes, it was amazing to see the care that I perceived from the others. Who knows what they were actually thinking but it was fun to see them all run to see what had happened.

Yeah, it was a bit of a shocker to me but I was pleased to see how excited the other cows and bulls were with the new arrival.

Yes, if you try to do everything at once there will be many failures. However you all are knocking out LOADS so don't be hard on yourself.

Yes we grow tons of rocks here and I found plenty. You all are amazing at the work you do and the generosity you have with sharing.

You may be right. I got this one so I didn't have to open and close a door each time I got in or out. One thing I wish it had was a spot for my kids to ride. We shall see if I create something like that in the future.

Actually I haven’t hooked it up to the mower deck but I’m told it will. Stay turned and I’ll include that episode when I hook it up.

YEs, the farming game is awesome! I talked to a farmer once that quit playing it because it was too close to real life.

I've actually been shocked that they have lasted 4-6 months. I haven't actually noticed them totally dead but whenever the door doesn't open properly I guess it is the batteries and change them.

Ha! Yes, it is the concrete porch to the school house and I wanted to capture their small footprints for ever. It’s a way better finish than the super smooth finish of all the other concrete.

So far I haven't given them any shots or meds. I rotate them frequently from one pasture to another so they have less chances of interacting with bugs and diseases.

I agree, it is a black rat snake. It isn't harmful to people but eats eggs and potentially chickens. I took this one far from our farm and I haven't seen it come back but only time will tell. Thanks for the comment!

@@dustinyamchuk7400it has turned out to be a good collar. She actually figured out how to get it off and I had to buy another one. But it is great for training purposes for sure. The range is good, appears to be pretty waterproof, and the battery life is fantastic!

I just bought one, I don’t believe in Ecollars but I have to resort to using one with my beagle who has become aggressive with our livestock and my dachshunds she’s attacking. Trainer advised me to start the ecollsr now she’s still a pup but at 9 months she’s now old enough for this type of collar. So I’m hoping the beeping gets her attention like your dog did

One other benefit that I haven't shared about the deep litter method is it provides a great cushion for the chickens so if they do fall then they are protected as well. I think the first little while of milking a cow the milk tastes a bit different then normal. After this milking it was good, creamy, by had a slight taint to it. Hopefully the flavor will improve as we give good supplements in her diet.

Thanks for sharing your concerns. We did have the metal prongs extended otherwise you wouldn't be able to utilize the shock training part of the collar. If you have the silicone covers on then it won't actually do anything to deliver a shock. On a separate note I haven't actually been able to deliver a shock to her due to her very thick fur. I've thought about shaving a little patch so the metal probes are touching her skin. Also I wouldn't keep the collar on for a long time to avoid issues like you mentioned.

They say in the product description it says electric conductor silicone.

I think the silicone is to cover the electric conductors if you don't want an accidental shock to occur.

The collar still shocks with the (electric conductor) silicone covers! It is designed to always have the silicone covers on

You should not need to shave any fur. You should use the longer prongs that come with it, always with the silicone covers on, and tighten the collar. It needs to fit very snug so both prongs are touching her neck. If you've had issues with it not working it's simply not tight enough or the level is too low to where she doesn't react to it

Ha! True, pigs are magical animals. Anything that creates bacon from everything else is a miracle in my opinion.
