As LSU fans we are worried about Reese even staying at Chicago. Chicago has had 8 coaches in the last 5 years. The instability of this franchise is scary especially with many big players leaving in past seasons and having nothing good to say about the franchise. We understand many Reese haters are waiting to blame her for this but we know she is the reason for the sky having as much attention as they did this season.

This is about race and why businessmen who never played sports make these types of decisions. Yes its about race, look at the NFL, name one #1 draft pick who is white has a black HC over a season. But first time white HC in the NFL who draft a white or black #1 player usually coach longer. Now given that the upcoming picks in the 2025 draft, there is a good chance Paige Beckers will be selected by the Sky. You can't have a white #1 player coached by a black woman. Its the same in the NFL.

Management knew about Coach Spoon Xs and Os before they hired her. So internet folks spreading a narrative that Xs and Os is why Coach was and should have been fired need to stop. And they know who they are. So after trading away 2 of their best supposed players and Gabby Williams not wanting to be here, seems there is Way more to this Story then some Bogus Xs and Os. Wayyyyyy more. So unless Coach violated some Major WNBA rules, this is pure BS. It was a freaking Miracle that after all the HATE she and players were getting that they contending at all for that 8th spot. With all their supposed best players traded and starting 2 Rookies. If their remaining best players had nothing to do with Coach getting fired, I would leave the Sky as soon as humanely possible. The organization has become way too toxic. And I really want to know which Players were in BED with this move.

You’re right. There has to be more. I can’t figure it. There was low expectations for the team, there was sickness and injuries. A lot of bad luck for a rookie head coach but there was good things too. Very puzzling. They knew how close Reese and Cater were to T-Spoon. Now Reese is flying off to L.A. It looks like the Sky are willing to start all over. A very curious situation with not a lot of info.

Personally I think she got fired because the team success became secondary after everyone started talking about Angel Reese could get 11 double. The team carter, Izzy, cardosa, mabrey started being upset with it. Remember the friction during the dream game and carter became even more upset. Remember the friction between Carter and the coaching staff during a timeout?

The problem with Coach Spoon that she was overly nice, couldn't really coach.. the substitution and play calling was really bad.. Sheryl Swoopes can be a good replacement. a trailblazer, a legend and a leader.. Angel needs a tough coach who will push her..
