I have a G-261 that I bought last year. Mine sat for at least 10years that I know of. The owner that I bought it from tried to sell it to me 5years ago for $400, at the time I didn't really need it but then this year a friend and I started our own repair business (Dirty Deeds Truck and Auto Repair) we work on trucks, cars, equipment even fixed a drier in an RV lol. but then I needed a big welder so I contacted the owner "I've worked on his farm equipment from time to time and he sold it to me for $200 I had to kit the carb, removed and muck out the radiator, the water pump was leaking but after running it a bit, it healed up, but I ordered a rebuild kit anyhow. I've burned 100lbs of 7018 with it and it is a welding/ carbon arcing mofo I love it. I've also got a SA-200 short hood that was given to me 20years ago that I'm putting on a service truck soon as I have time lol. I just love those big old welders they're hard to beat. now if I can get my hands on a Big-40 lmao.

used one of those working for an iron company back in the day. smooth welder, strong stable arc. we'd just keep adding 100' links of lead the higher we went, arc never faltered. underrated for sure.

I have this generator and it was great at first… but then my electronic choke stopped working so I have to take a part and manually choke it while manually cranking it to start it….

Good luck guy, also you have to level the top 2 bolt holes on that flange so if they bolt a valve or whatever on it will be straight

Achtung!! That welder is not a transformer!! It is a generator,great d.c.weld source!!

You should consider an over flow bottle with a long tube so when the engine heats up the coolant goes into the bottle . When the engine cools the coolant goes back into the radiator and keeps it full,no wasted coolant!!

Straight anti-freeze does not have the cooling capability of 50/50 mix.

You need to look up Austin Ross he has a TH-cam channel on fence welding he made a product that raise up and down fences maybe that would help you not sure if he has this product on his website that you can order …

But PLEASE my man, wear a face shield when using that cut disc on the grinder! my best friend lost his left eye and permanent cheek bone damage from a wheel blowing up on him. he had safety glasses on, but it didn't help him. sad that something like that had to happen for us to finally take the advice that was given to us.... don't get hurt bud, we want to keep seeing these videos!

Nice pretty quiet I thought onan motors was dead good their back my only complain is everything is so small I mean the opening to fill oil and access to the battery I'm not a big person only 6ft 2ins but I got 2x large paws little things like those irritates me trying to operate them wish these manufacturers would consider full grown guys sometimes
