I received a credit card offer for AA admirals club and 100k bonus miles . The annual fee of $595 is bonkers . My wait on the last two flights was less than an hour after clearing security , so the benefit would not be worth it.

Impressive that they have 2 hot meal services. When I took that same flight in MAR 2023 the second meal was a cold sandwich, with a yogurt and chocolate bar.

You over heated it the battery would be my guess. The lithium battery has a smart ABS battery monitoring system on it for controlling the battery discharge and charge. If you take a temp gun to it the next time it quits see the battery temps. Either cut at a higher setting to lower the load on the battery or a cooler day to keep the battery temp down I would think would get it done for you without quitting. Just my guess. Lithium batteries with their monitoring system so they don't do a thermal runaway melt down and catch fire is kind of industry standard on a lithium battery pack

How would you say it was for a vegetarian as far as food goes ?

I just came from Cancun and tourist are doing the same there. You cannot find a chair at the pool or the beach area because most of them looks to be occupied. People put a towel, or a book, or 1 shoe on top of the pool or beach chair and they never come back. I saw in Cancun same chair 2 days in the row with a book on top and nobody was there. This is rude and ridiculous behavior. Same thing in Punta Cana. People are very selfish.

My wife & I went March of 2023 and it was great. The bugs were not to bad, when the sun goes down it does cool off a bit, comfortable enough to wear a long sleeve if wanted. We brought flash lights to walk on the beach at night and deep woods off, hardly used any. Most of the staff was upbeat, and plan on going back again in April 2024. Ryan you did a great review of the overall of Keyonna Beach Resort. The outings that you need to sign up for to reserve you seat, to Jolly Harbor, St. Jonh's and Shirley Heights and other hikes, but you do have to pay for you ride or taxi that is arranged with the group.

I love the RIU Palace Antilles and disagree with a couple of Ryan’s observations. One, tipping is NOT included in most all-inclusives including this one. You are expected to tip for good service. Also, about the beach chairs being reserved early in the morning…..this is true of every resort I’ve been to in the Caribbean. No matter how many signs the resort posts prohibiting it, chairs will be saved very early in the morning here and at every other resort.

American airline really should do better with their clubs. I know there are newer ones rolling out by AA. Looking at this club, the food selection is so bad compared to some Chinese airlines such as Cathay Pacific or China Eastern. they serve hot food by order without need to pay extra.

Is it all inclusive? And the price for that that room you stayed in

Do they place a hold onto your credit/debit card upon check-in for incidental? If so, is it per day or one hold for entire trip? And is minibars in room additional charge if you drink it? Lol

I managed to walk this in 13:41.24 during a long layover the other day. If it weren't so crowded, I think I might've been able to go maybe 20 or so seconds faster.

Every Admirals Club has basically the SAME FOOD, EVERY. DAY. Come on, American Airlines: it can't cost much for some variation in your food offerings :(

Hi. Question about the a La carte restaurants. Are they included in the all inclusive price? Can you order as many entrees as you want to eat or is there a limit to one entree per guest at dinner? Can you make reservations for each a la carte restaurant or is it first come first serve?

I've been thinking of switching to AA, but not if first class doesn't get to board first. Off to check out Alaskan.

Delta and United's lounges at that airport are nicer. Granted, not by much, given that it's RDU, but still. I will also say it's nice to see the Big 3 airlines maintaining lounges at an airport the size of RDU.

We are going 2nd week of September and staying in beachfront room. Spoke with the hotel and they suggested the rooms to the left as you are looking from above resort. Noticed that some of the ocean views can be obscured by vegetation. Any recommendation of the best room so that you can see the ocean from your deck/pool bedrooms? Many thanks!

Great video. I don't know why US airlines serve very little food on domestic long-haul flights. I can get 2 full meals on flight this long.

Great review Ryan! Just returned from 1 week vacation there. Agree with everything you say...and tipping was a major bone of contention between hubby and me. I'm from a service background and heard they make about $6-7/hour so tipped - occasionally. At the bar once or twice a day - a few dollars (my hubby was there A LOT!), $2/day for housekeeping and guess what...she refilled the fridge ever day. (wink wink) I also left $5 for each a la carte restaurant. Hubby finally gave up and used his spending money at the casino, I used mine for tipping. You didn't mention casino (in fact no one ever does and I completely forgot in my many reviews...trip advisor, Sunwing etc.). Very, very tight slots! We reduced our spending each day and never ever came out with anything left. But music was our biggest complaint - there was no escaping it without going to our room, inside the hotel or away from hotel. And we read SO many complaints about this before we even went. You would think they would take that to heart and make some changes. We thought we wouldn't return either but finding an adult-only, on the beach, with this value...we are booking 2 weeks next year. Now that we are aware, we will plan our activities accordingly. Again...GREAT review! Thanks so much!
