I'm thinking of buying one of these for around the house. Any advice on how to decide between the 66" or the 72". I'll probably only use it a couple times a year, but I"m getting older and I want a way to safely move items up and down the stairs, as well as load things in and out of my truck by myself. Any other advice before I buy? Thanks

I bought this Escalera StairCat with fork lift a few years ago. I only used it only twice. Your user manual is terrible. It lacks pictures and clarity on how to operate it. Because it is pretty heavy, it makes this dangerous to use through trial and error. Your videos aren't much better. The manual you provided doesn't show how to put the big wheels on the StairCat at all. This video is all I have to go on. I have a set of kick stand wheels attached to my unit that aren't described in the manual either. I had to watch a different video to figure out how to use those. This video tutorial for the big wheels is extremely brief and crappy. There is no close-up showing where you are clipping the wheels on the bottom. It is not obvious by just looking at it. Nothing in the manual says whether or not the big wheels can go over the kick stand wheels or if the kick stand wheels must be removed. If they first need to be removed, there are no instructions on how to do it. You appear to have no video on it either. I am really disappointed with this company. For the amount this cost, I would expect better.

do the big wheels installed on the lift allow the lift to rest at an angle? THANKS

I rented one of these and I found it hard to use. I found the big wheel kept wanting to slide out on the stairs and I was trying to move a bandsaw which was pretty top heavy and this tool didn't help with the weight distribution. I ended up returning the unit within about 2 hours of using it on one step going from my garage into my home.

Wish these were available for rental at Home Depot or Uhaul.. I only need it for one move.

Question: I have 2 of the 700lb units and one of the motors burned out(both units are over 5 years old), do you sell just the motor, or can I send them in for repair? I don't recall seeing this info on your website.

It is 4:26 a.m. and I found this and I can't stop watching. I wish I owned this when I had a pinball machine as well as my last two moves. Bravo to the engineers that designed this and the machinists that made it happen. Cool stuff.
