Have watched a dozen videos; so far this one has explained the whole loop thing the best
I ain’t no lady, I’m making a blanket for ma wife.. very helpful, thank you! Now my wife can enjoy her blanket on Christmas and not 2 months later.
I'm so glad it was helpful! Originally this video was meant specifically as a follow for an in person class I did that was attended by ladies only so that where that comes in 😀 I didn't intend to share it publicly but I am sure glad I did as it's my most loved video!
How big you make your stitches
I have anger issues and after lik 30 ish videos this really helps I was getting very frustrated when i couldn’t get it and it was like it wasn’t a tutorial it was like somebody was teaching me
Great instructions. I need to make a chunky blanket for a baby. My son's first. Do you know how big a baby crib blanket should be. I have no idea how many rows to start off with. I appreciate any help.
I know what I was doing wrong.i was skipping last chain picking up on return row instead of knitting first
Hi. Yours is the first video I can actually follow. Would love to see more and how to determine the size and work accordingly. Pleeeeeease‼️♥️
Can you make a hat
Possibly. It would be super bulky though...it's probably worth a try!
Thank you .i think I have been doing scarf wrong all mine turn in on sides .
It could be how tight your making your stitches/loops. This one does tend to curl in along the lobg sides just the tiniest bit but it doesn't bother me personally. A larger loop should produce a softer more flowy fabric though.
I like the pocket! There’s enough scarfs out there without one so why not!
True! Plus this way there is a place for snacks 😀 lol
Thank you so much I’ve others but your. So much more help but trying too make approximately how many rolls of yarn would I need? I have eight rolls and it’s 9 feet each. I would like to make a full-size blanket for a 5’3 person
THANK YOU SO MUCH every tutorial i watched didnt make sense of was too fast but this is very visible and understanding now every time i make a blanket i can watch this. thank you!
You are the best teacher ‼️ I have seen many videos but you show slowly and clearly, I’m on my 4th row‼️. First timer and I love it‼️♥️
Yay! I'm so glad!
Thank you! I used your tutorial to make a scarf for my father :)
Yay!! I hope he loves it! ❤️
Thank you so much I was also confused until I found this video ! God bless you
You are very welcome!
The only issue im having is with the rows, like im struggling with making another row.
Hmmmmm...I do have a full tutorial video as well that you might want to check out!
This is the best instructional video EVER!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You are so welcome! I'm thrilled that it is helpful!
My goodness that is by far the BEST instruction video that I have watched. Thank you very much. I am so excited to get started. 😊
Love the instructions!🫶 i was watching this other video and it was so confusing.
@mendysuk8698 Same here! I'm so happy!
Thankful 🥰
How many skiens of yarn do I buy and how many loops do I make for the rows?
I have a full tutorial video that gives all those details if you would like to check it out!
Thank you for the tutorial ! ❤😊
You are very welcome!
Thank you for the very easy to follow tutorial!! Beautiful scarf and color. I am looking forward to making one. Great gift ideas, too!
You are quite welcome! I'm glad you're inspired to make one! I love giving handmade gifts!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! The other tutorials I watched just kept losing me but this one was so simple!! I finished making a blanket for my dad and he loves it! 🧡
I've never had the patience for crochet, knitting or anything else like that, but after watching this I was able to make a scarf! Seriously couldn't believe it. This is an awesome tutorial!!
I am so glad it was helpful! A scarf is such a great idea that I made a tutorial for one! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Hello! By far the best video out there. Thank you. Quick question when you are finish with one ball of yarn how do you add the second, third and etc. into your blanket?
I like to use the burn method. I do have a full tutorial up that shows how to do it!
I have been so frustrated trying to figure this out. A few mins of your video and a few hours later and I have half a blanket!!! Thank you!
Yay! I'm so glad!!!
Excellent, thank you!
As someone who *HATES* tutorial videos because they go to fast or don’t show the questions clearly, I can say that this one goes in #1. it was really hard to start off and i had to go to my backup plan, watch a video. I watched this video and it shows clearly what the steps are. Thank you so much!🧶🙏😁
I'm so super glad it was helpful!!
After a million videos ive watched, this one that helped me a looot. Im such a slow learner so Thank you 😊😊
You are very welcome! I'm so glad it was helpful!
What did you use for the inside to be able to hold it or make it stand?
The pattern calls for a pvc pipe!
Thank you so much. Love your instructions. I tried to follow another one and it was way too difficult glad I found you ❤
Mine came out a funny shape, one side shorter than the other so the blanket isn't square-shaped. What did I do wrong?
It could be a few things truthfully. First, the nature of this project does not create a perfect outcome. They're not always perfectly square/rectangle unless you have a super consistent stitch size and tension, so it could be that. Also the chain row definitely tends to be tighter and, therefore, a bit shorter than the consectutive rows. It's also possible that you dropped a stitch somewhere, but you would probably notice that. My guess is that it is just a matter of getting a consistent stitch going throughout!
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Feeling very in’s-irked now to start changing things up!
Awesome!! Get creative!
Thank you so much!!!!These were the best instructions!!!
Yay! I'm so glad it was helpful!
first timer, i think my problem is adding a new color after i’ve finished one. its probably not as hard but i’m going through it lol. good video though love it
That can be a bit tricky, but don't give up! I do have a quick video on color changing, so maybe check that out too!
Hi there I was hoping you could help me out with a problem with one of the six blankets I just made. I just now realized that I missed a stitch on one of the and it's totally complete. Do you have a trick or tip to fix it versus me having to redo the entire blanket? Thank you.
Let's go, six blankets! You rock! Ok I think that you could cut the loose stitch and then tie it to close the gap. I will try to make a quick video today to demonstrate!
This video was perfection. Im a visual learner and you explained this sooooo welll. Thanks❤❤😊😊
You are very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful!
This is my first attemp at this. I think I like it. You are a great instuctor which I liked because you went slow enough that I could follow along. My right side looks wonky, but I hope with practice this will improve. At least I hope. Thanks again..
It sounds like you are well on your way! Keep practicing and you will get better and better.
This is the best instructional video I have seen. Thank you so much. ❤
You are so welcome!
Thank you. You do an amazing job showing how to. I never would have thought I could do this 😊 and it was really relaxing hearing happy doggy sounds in background ❤🐾
I'm so glad you gave it a try! We can do so many things that we think we can't! I'm glad my crazy pups made you happy!!
THE BEST DEMONSTRATION, HANDS DOWN!!! THANK YOU🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!! I'm so glad it was helpful!
How would you add on another ball of yarn if you ran out?
I have a quick video tha shows how to color change and it would be the same to add a new skein! I also have a full length tutorial! let me know if you need more help!
How many skeins?
I usually use 5-6 😀
Best instructions ever! I can't even describe how many videos I have watched and failed on trying. The first time watching this video I finished a whole baby blanket and it looks so amazing!!
Just started a blanket using this method!
Awesome! I am so happy that you liked it and got to create something beautiful!
Ok im just starting out I can crochet with needle but never tried this I watched another video but got confused fast then I came across this one of yours few minutes ago and wow im loving how you take your time I have arthritis but I want to make a blanket for my hubby and grandkids before something happens to me, so im going to start now while watching you. ❤
