This is the final lauch of my work. Roll control system was active and worked perfectly. Fists instants of flight are disturbed because aft section of the rocket throwed off center due to differential rolling moment. In future I will add some shear pins to avoid this problem.     Can you explain more about the control reversal effect of the canards ? I notice that the fin can spins freely and Jim Jarvis also uses it on his roll controlled rocket. I can’t find much information online regarding control reversal and why it occurs on roll controlled model rockets with no freely rotating fin can.

    I know this is from a while ago, but did you have to use your IMU to integrate for vertical speed and feed that into your PID controller (cause I'm presuming that the PID gains would vary by a decent amount by airspeed)? Let me know if I need to rephrase my question.

      I know this comment is from a while ago :-), but the answer is: no. In this case the controller gains weren't scheduled with the airspeed. But you are right. In industry autopilot gains are normally scheduled with respect to the dynamic pressure, that takes into account at the same time the airspeed and the altitude (through the density)
