Just perfection! Imagine the skill in making it.
Very impressive case! Great video!
That first one is in my opinion, is a Clovis reworked as another culture picked it up and put a base on it, I've only seen one other one like it.
@lelandshanks3590 I often think of that too ... it only makes sense !!! Mainly bc material... when have you ever seen a Holland made from edwards plateau chert ? Lol. ... never ! Lololol. My gut also says it was originally a clovis that was found by a Holland guy
Yep, think that's exactly why it's been altered.
Hot wheels tire......pre dinosaur...
It's been drilled, that's why the taper is different on both sides.
Sweet little stick'r dude, rock on 🤘
Nice Scallorn! Good eye!
Thanks!
Stale cheerio, don't eat it.
I'm glad you shared some great saves
Is it alge or not?
@lelandshanks3590 I dunno. I was always told this kind is ogallala quartzite ..? But not sure. Some kind of silicified sandstone i think
Yep, that’s a killer alright 👍🏻
It's an indian grommet. A stone grommet for a leather tarp that they got from harbor freight.
Great finds brother. Appreciate you sharing. Good hunting.
That thing is part of human history, saying it's a great find is quiet the understatement.
Awesome find, congrats. Can't get more authentic than that.
Outstanding!
Nice big one!
That's a killer man. I have one that's very similar. Tulsa show is coming up, we'll do some comparing.
Yes!
@@lelandshanks3590 man I hope so!
Good call Garrett, its beveled so 4 sure Archaic.
Your collection is amazing! Thanks for sharing with us!
@TerryJohnson-zu9sr thank you and no problem.
Paleo beauties, thanks for sharing em😎😎😎
Get it Garrett, we're rockers from he'll dude!!!
Nice overview of point types. Most Personal collections have the notched points as the predominant point type👍🏻
I believe many of the short Birdies were sharpened down while hafted? Love the workmanship on those Huffies 👍🏻
Nice knife, probably “Born In Texas”👍🏻
Nice artifacts, many of miles in hunting them. Don’t you just love it👍🏻
That to me has Paleo all over it!!!
😂😂
Love the music, what u typing that?
@lelandshanks3590 I'm unsure honestly, most people call it munkers creek
Loved that restored one and all those xtra tiny ones that followed. Who did the restoration work? It looks really nice
@meandmyshadow6269 thanks shadow! And Gomer Pyles did the restoration, he's the best . 👌
@meandmyshadow6269 someone once suggested the tiny ones are blow darts, which does make sense. 🤔
I've seen some Haraheys in my day, but that's the best one I've ever seen.
@lelandshanks3590 thank you so much !!! 💓
@@lelandshanks3590 alot of people say that
You got me juiced 😂for the show, give that dog some petting for me he's a dandy.
@lelandshanks3590 guess I'll do paleo next ! Lol 🤷♂️
@folsomblues2874 get on it dog!
Abrader, wow nice artifact!
@lelandshanks3590 thx man ! Only one of that style I've found. I have a couple that are lil flat sandstone slabs
Video wasn't stupid at all! Love seeing your collection and hearing you share about it. Gotta love the polish on those river points! Thanks for sharing, enjoyed!
Man, Perino would have went nuts over that c.c. knife, on those corner notched points get in your literature and look at Kings, Cooper, and of course Pelican Lake. I see some Nolan in that frame, also I think that blunt may be Cossotot?
Coukd very well be , not sure!
Yep, Duncan/Hanna, that comment about it not being real? We know better!!
@lelandshanks3590 haters gonna hate. It don't bother me. ! It's a really a really well made point, guys a dipshit lol 😆
Good to see pops out there, that patination indicates it has been lying in leaves for years before it was in the river bed!
That ain't no pooter Garret, Hi Lo, or a Coldwater?
Looks like Hannah? Idk. I do know that you find some old stuff! 👍
Love it brother! Just found your channel!!!
It was a blank (unfinished stone tool)
Beautiful pieces!
Wow...thanks for sharing your flint with us!!!! Nice collection
That surface where it meets the hole, 90° and displays completely different surface work. I don't know how to explain it well, but ground surfaces that meet up to any other angle tend to have very crisp edges, and its only created by grinding work done by a person. Highly polished meeting up to non polished because they werent able to polish the inside of the hole. It's very evenly worn by the sand in the river, giving it extra gloss than what it originally looked like. The material looks to be high in hematite, they must have gotten a bunch of paint off of making that one. There are outcrops of high iron sandstones found around Central Oklahoma, and it was highly revered as paint stone around here. It's fairly easy to make things out of despite its hardness. It starts out black/red but grinds to be an almost graphite looking black, just like your piece. It should be heavy for it's size if it is. I will admit, when I saw you pull this I had some doubts. But after going about collecting a bunch of different local materials and working them to different things, as well as finding worked bits of the same stuff from sites, I can say for sure that its legit.
That's one of the things confusing me about it is the stone itself. It's actually very lightweight feeling.
That's the one my eye picked up on in your frame.
Beautiful projectiles and knives, thanks for showing and explaining them👍🏻
A fine example 👍🏻
Good show Garrett, thanks for the comparisons, I totally agree.
Great comparisons. I've one complete one from north central Arkansas. Interesting description, a Holland point with a Scott's bluff tail. Thanks for sharing!!!
