This performance was mind-blowing; the level of accuracy to the original Bill Grundy Today Show far surpasses anything else I've ever seen. If I just listen to this without viewing the video portion -- it's nearly spot on -- all the way down to the inflections. Uncanny!!

Terrible Morrissey impression

OMG!! The Noel Gallagher voice is freaking me out!! It's exactly the same, and NOT easy to do.

I love this and hate to carp, but they missed what I think is the funniest thing in the original interview: Bill Grundy mouthing "Oh shit!" at the end when he realises he's in the shit. Serafinowicz just makes an 'O' with his mouth.

I remember seeing the original Bill Grundy interview with The Sex Pistols on The Today Programme and although it really meant nothing to me personally the bru hah hah that it brought about on Thames Television and the British broadcasting industry in general seemed out of all proportion to whatever offence it was purported to have caused. Mind you in them days I was stoned pretty much all the time and would have taken a lot more than a few swear words on the telly to move me.. Strange but interesting times lol
