It didnt work it it turned the file into read only mode
I keep running into the issue of when I choose the usb in the boot menu to load ventoy it shows something completely different. Local image and a couple other things. I don't know where I went wrong

Thanks a lot bro you're a saviour 🙏🏻 My windows suddenly got corrupted and I was unable to boot and all I have is the Chromebook lying around which I got as a gift, followed your method and it worked perfectly. I was able to installed (Windows 11 sep 24) without any issues. Thanks a lot man true hero 🗿

This is a very confusing tutorial, you left out half the information and I’ve got an empty flash drive on a windows computers now, if you want views stop making click bait tutorials.
it's a very specific tutorial because it's rather difficult to create a Windows installer when the only other computer you may have with a running OS is just a Chromebook. This tutorial may be a bit outdated, but I wasn't really doing it for views but rather to find a unique way to solve a problem I've seen. This shows how to make a bootable drive that allows you to install Windows onto a PC, not a Chromebook. so if that's what you were after, I'm afraid that this video was not aiming to demonstrate that.

usually it'll ask you when you go to install a game. so if you're like installing Fortnite or something, when you're first trying to install it, It'll show the install location and you can change it there.

My kids have the T5500, I have a T7500, and my friend has a T3500/T7500. The kid's T5500 is basically a backup unit now but back in the day it was considered a fairly powerful machine. Quad Core 3.06Ghz hyper-threaded CPU, 12GB DDR3 Reg ECC, Raid 0 250GB WD Blue, Wifi G PCI, and a GTX 560 Ti 1.5GB. That's laughable now, but at one time it was a stout machine.
Ventoy is malware
hello i can't install ventoy on my laptop, it's always a black screen is it possible to download it via my main computer and then plug a pendrive into the laptop??
Try using ventoy version 1.0.36
trying to install it using this method, worked every step up until actually installing windows. says its missing files, fix?

well dang, if you're using a newer version of ventoy, you could always try an older version because at some point this did work. I haven't tested to see how full proof this method is, I just kinda figured out it was possible. if it really doesn't work though, as I said, you maybe be able to find a premade Windows installer on the web for probably not a whole lot more than a nice flash drive. I'm hoping to be more active on this channel soon, I've been pretty busy, but I always check up on things from time to time, lol.

It deletes all the data on the PC. Mines was wiped clean as if I had just bought it. So download any files to a usb drive if you're worried about em deleting.
I had a problem with my computer. I kept getting error 0xc00000225 with some file missing, and this was the ONLY VIDEO that helped. I followed it step by step and BOOM it worked. Thank you. THANK YOU! God bless you.

if you're trying to install Windows onto your Chromebook, that's a whole other can of worms. but for what's shown in this video, no.

Amazing! Working, thank you so much. I had BSOD problems, someone told me to reinstall windows but I couldn't do so because I don't have any other Windows device to run Rufus. I did the full setup with Ventoy on my Chromebook. Again it worked and THANK YOU SO MUCH!
