Formley the youtube channel for dear Ali, but since starting twleve80 it has become the main focus of the business. Therefore we've rebranded this youtube channel to feature twelve80's content from now on.
twelve80 is a community focus ceramic studio, provides a space where people can freely create, develop, and be part of the clay community.

Firing reduction is hard work, but its worth it.

How’s the system working for you? Any thing you’d do different? We are opening a community studio and want to do something similar to this bin system.
Thank you for your videos! I really appreciate you including your REAL experience with "oops" and all. So educational and validating, and I learn so much more from your process this way. Thank you!
very helpful 😊 often my clay is centred but I find when I cone up then down it’s becomes uncentered, the the top is uncentered and then as I try and re centre the whole thing is off centre. Thanks in advance 😊
I'm in Ukraine now and thinking about pursuing this path. I'm so grateful for your videos. Thanks for business side of all of this and concrete numbers.
Lovely pottery!!! 🥰
Nice one Kevin, always interesting to hear the business side of things.
@@_billybob thanks!
IDK if you said this or not, but how much do people pay to use the kilns?
@@CharCrow1 General public is $10/kg, members are $8/kg and students are $6/kg for all firing in the electric kilns.
Love the transparent breakdown! Really informative!
Thank you! Are there any other topic you might be curious about?
how do u keep it so flat? my plates always get bulbous in the center!
It helps to use the flat edge of a rib to level out the surface, also instead of working on the entire surface at once, push down the middle with your finger and slowly drag it outwards, similar to compressing the base, keeping our hand as level as possible. You will get some spiral, but once the surface is level, you can easily smooth it out with a sponge or rib.
@@twelve.80 ahh thank you for this tip!! I always use a huge rib lol that must be why
HWK packaging company is number 1 ❤❤❤❤
Awesome packaging the HWK packaging company in China Shenzhen !!!!!
Obviously scale up the bucket for real world use
True but you woundnt be able to make the video very long if its on
@@lilbrogangster gotta be quick!
This is very interesting and encouraged me to do a bit of research. The interior of a kiln is typically made out of very dense and highly insulated bricks. Because of the brick’s high mass, it absorbs sound, acting as soundproofing. Thank you and I wish you the best of luck with your art ❤
Nice job. Can't wait to see the finished results. Please send me a link.
Thank you so much for shariing, this is so helpful💞🌱✨🥹
Great space Kevin! Great ‘everything’ you do. Great energy. Thank you!!! I tell everyone about twelve80! ❤❤❤❤
Excellent instruction. I have been having problems with my centering and you may have just solved my issues. I would love to see more.
Glad it helped! Let me know if there are anything you are having trouble with, always open to ideas for more videos.
this was so helpful! thank u :)
You're so welcome!
I made the mistake of saying "Your wheel is going too slow, and your hand is going too slow." But instead if should be hand is going too fast. I edited the audio and its pretty seamless but thought I should mention it.
Love these updates!!! Did you code the booking part of website yourself? If it’s an app I’d love to hear more about it, reallocating spots is a big problem to solve
I built it from scratch using a no-code platform called bubble, there are many options available nowadays where you don't have to do any coding. Although, you will still need to understand how database and algorithm works. I think in the future especially when there aer no AI tools, lots of small business owners can either build something themselves that is tailored to their business, or the cost of hiring someone/angecy to create will be much more affordable.
Awesome stuff Kevin! Great update keep it up.
Thanks for the update! I've followed you for a long time and always enjoy your thoughts on things. I'm a teacher at a local studio and there are SO many parallels between the businesses... expanding, increasing members and offering classes, the things that take up our time (emails and scheduling and the like for sure!). Interesting to hear your approach to things. Love how you leverage technology. Keep on keeping on! I'm looking forward to more updates!
Always find these videos interesting, thank you for sharing!
Welcome back! Keep up with the uploads and content mate! Well done
Fantastic update, so glad you’re back posting! 👍
scan you put a link to the two holders you use the one for the paper roll, and tape
Thank you very helpful
I'm here coz im trying to find how to be a sustainable small business owner and less create of CO2 footprint. ❤🎉
Can you please help me out? I have a question, I'm from Pakistan having a small blue pottery business, how can i ship my products to worldwide
amazing. Very on point and accurate on the basics needed to start. I loved everything from the tone of your voice until the very content --of course. THANK YOU! 😊
What is box size that you use😊
This is the best tap centering video! I watched it 3 years ago, lost it and I found again, I’m so happy)))
Where did you get the bat with the pop outs? I didn't see it on the description. TIA❤
Great video- very helpful! Thank you!
Way overkill but, very nice..
Sir, I have seen and heard how this is done. Your discovery and demonstration was very insightful. Well done. Thank you.
It feels like I'm having a meeting with you
How is this system working for you now?
so clear and concise, tysm ❤️
Are you crazy. You can read clearly the council name. Go back and blur the name
My city here in the USA had recycle bins for citizens. They switched to a different size & type. Both types have the city name & that it’s recycle. My husband created a space on the bottom of the running board at the back of my 4 to 6 person electric golf cart. He added the recycle bin to the back board feet area so it holds using rubber tie downs. It makes it so I can rake our yard & add the rubbish to the recycle bin filling it so I can drive my cart to the median between the down & back road beside our home. Our mayor, trash pick up/recycle pick up, & yard waste pick up guys know about it. I’ve had compliments. Nobody complains.
True! Most of the people prefer decorative and bog items
We’re you selling in person or online?
I love seeing you figure this out. I still struggle with this.
My favorite part was you throwing the package lol 10 out of 10.
Thank you for explaining the rim process. Especially folding the rim out to create the water channel. That was the missing step I needed.
How much clay did you start with?
Is the stamp ink eco friendly?
Hi! How did you make your amazing bats and the clay trap bins? I like the way yours look efficient and easy to make.
Excellent tutorial. Very informative and organized.
