My interpretation of this song... To me, this is certainly a story of someone getting to know a lady and realizing that he is falling deeply in love with her. His arms are open wide to her love and he knew it from the start. They don't want to fall asleep for fear they would miss this moment together. He wants to tell her that he is "So yours for the taking" and he's tearing up trying to figure out how to say it. Then she kisses him as if to say, "you don't have to say it. I know how you feel and I feel the same way". They are basically both flying away together in love. But it's just beginning, and he knows that there will be times when they are apart. He feels that eventually they will be together but until then, "I'll keep you in my dreams" I felt this way when I met my wife. And like many others, we danced to this song at our wedding.

August 6, 2022 I'll be walking down the isle and getting married to my best friend. This song means the world to us.

This song really meant a lot to me years ago when I was in a long distance relationship with the love of my life.. and we'd get those few moments every year or so when we could be together again.. until I finally took the step and moved to be with him.. We were in an LDR for 2 years before I moved.. and we've been together for 8 years now and still going strong; we even have a son now. ❤ this song made me think about him when we were apart.. and how much I loved him and couldn't wait to be in his arms again. Even now, being with him still, having a kid with him, seeing him everyday.. I still don't want to ever let him go. I still dream of him when I close my eyes and I still miss him when he's gone for even the shortest amount of time.

This is the 1st time I've heard this song.. I heard about it on 20/20 it was the couples fav song. So i looked it up. I cant believe i havent heard it. I think its a beautiful song. I listened to it around 10 times in a row listening to every word and I think it's about someone losing the one they love to suicide.. Thats what it seems like to me. But, no matter what it is about love death marrage what ever its a beautiful song. At least we all can agree on that..

Justin explained the origins of this song. He was in Texas and was talking with a girl (his future wife) in Nebraska and they decided to meet up. He took a train from Texas to Kansas City and she took a bus from Nebraska to Kansas City and they meet at the Westin Crown Center in room 1852 and he walked in the room and smelled some marijuana and the Smiths and a few other songs were playing and they fell in love.

My son was born with complications and he was on the third floor in stockton ca and san fran came picked him up and he was on the 15 floor in san fran but to him it would be 18 floors remarkable song and a amazing band!
