Is SunnySide Worth Your Money?
In this video I will discuss the introduction to SunnySide. Let me know if you'd like a full review of the game.
SunnySide is a brand new indie farming simulator. This is a short first impressions / review of the game. This is not a full game play review, as I firmly believe that before you even get to the core game play loop of this game, it shows you enough warning signs and issues to potentially avoid a purchase.
As mentioned in the video, I love this game. If you are a developer of the game or worked on it, your hard work is still loved and appreciated. I apologize if it hurts to see me rag on the game like this, but I firmly believe that if you love a piece of media, you should be able to critique it. Sorry for the bottom part of the screen being cut off, lol. I wasn't going to re-record everything, however, I may re-record it for a full review / play through in the future. I don't know.

I was interested in this game but now I’m having second thoughts
I highly recommend reading into their recent updates- they have improved the game quite a bit, but it is still far off from being a complete product. One of the most troubling things is how they have taken criticism. I have seen them act like they are taking it well in stride, but they have seemingly ignored criticism levied against them that they don't want to deal with.
@@robinP_Pyeah that’s my biggest concern because even in your video here you mentioned about how you brought these issues up in the beginning, but you still see the same issues here with the game being fully released. So I don’t know I love where they’re going or at least trying to go with this game but it’s like do I want to spend my money on a game that isn’t gonna give me the cozy vibe that I actually want from a cozy game if that makes sense.
@@natondeckk i would say the vibe of the game is getting closer by the day to being truly cozy, but for now i would not play this unless you've played a good amount of farming sims prior and are willing to deal with lots of bugs.

Tbh for me if the game lacking content they can gradually add it and just say the game as early access n not full release which is weird to see in this state of the game. And for 3d games the core essential you have to complete as no 1 priority is graphic. You can be lazy with graphic if it's 2d or pixel but 3d is all about aesthetic, idk why the dev mindset is backwards in this type of things. Everyone keeps saying the dev is indie dev, but a lot n most indie dev knows that 3d games need polish graphic as core point before the content. 3d games all about aesthetic as a way to catch eyes of players Sorry for my broken english btw
@@sorata1343 Your English is entirely able to be understood. Do not worry. I agree. It is sad to see others making excuses for the developers. I do not hate them, nor do I want this game to fail. But some of this is so clearly showing that the developers didn't manage their time well. Thanks for writing.

@@YaBoySkelle420 just a warning, a lot more has happened since this video dropped. like, a lot more. so your take based on the video is valid, but the situation has shifted and we have lots more information. ...tbh it may not even be worth reading / watching into atp. it's messy and horrible all around. Tarzaned especially was horrible in the end.

Not trying to make excuses, but I think the biggest issue is it looks like Rainy is the only one actually programming the game..all by himself. He might have some side workers and I've seen writers and some artists, but it looks to me like most of the entire game is being made by himself and it's his first game. It feels like it's about 3-4 people as a whole NGL.
Oh, no that's genuinely a valid excuse. I still carry the same opinions regardless, I believe due to Rainy's sickness and the many delays, perhaps their publisher pushed them? I don't know. I just know that the team are extremely lovely people. I know they wouldn't want the game to feel this way.

I enjoy this Drama. All because of a mentally unstable E-Girl that hits herself and harms herself. It was clear from day 1 that this would happen and especially when it is Dantes and Tarzaned.
