Great intro!!! 2025 gonna be great
i played that game on PS4, that was one of my favorite games!
Need 4 Speed? Yeah, I remember it too.
what about the wdcr ax down in spotsylvania, have they had ax’s there before? kinda far but i might do at least 1 race there.
I think the lot was used before, but it’s new for us. Looks to be decent size, questionable surface I think. Worth a test.
love to try northwest field, i’m guessing the course is a lot bigger than regency?
A LOT bigger. We ran FedEx Field (NWF’s name for years) from 2002 to 2019 straight. Used to run 275 competitors a day there, an amazing lot for the time. Prices have gone way up, much harder to make it worth while but we may be giving it a shot.
Thanks for all the work! You both have done and amazing job!
i agree with Danny, find the car or cars you like and hold on to them. you can always sell some if they get to be too many. i’ve never gotten the thing with buying a car, modding it, keeping for like a year and jump to another car. i knew a guy who used to do that and to me it was like he could never be happy with what he had. all cars have their pros and cons, it’s good if you have a few or more and hold on to.
I would love to take part in a DMV Bad Golf podcast!
You absolutely can do a round of golf with just one club and one ball, but you'll need a big fishing net. You'll fish hundreds of balls out of the water.
Very nice capstone episode to conclude the year.
I have read MOST of the rules but even I glazed over about halfway through section 14...
Hey, thanks for the mention on the EV autocrossing. The Tesla is probably going to come back to autocross. But not with enough SRS BZNS to try towing to recharge it lol. I'm rusty enough on that car that the less battery power available, the smaller my mistakes lol. I'm going to run in whichever class lets me add camber so I don't destroy the outside edges of tires. Don't know what class that is yet lol.
show us some footage as you talk about the Autocross
Brian buying the podcast like The Onion bought Inforwars.
You are killing me Pat. :D
What’s Daniels TH-cam channel ?
It's about the driver not the car..
I just wanted to say how much I appreciated your last segment about being a minority in Autocross - it’s such an important conversation to have. Coming from North Carolina, I remember driving to my first Autocross event 1.5 years ago. It was not only my first motorsports event but also one of the most intimidating and rewarding experiences of my life. While the DMV area is quite diverse, NC carries the weight of its history, and stepping into this community felt like a big leap. Since then, I’ve made it a personal mission to bring people from different backgrounds into Autocross, because I truly believe it could make our community richer and more inclusive. I really wish there was a bigger focus on this issue at a national level - it would be amazing to see that kind of support to make our sport brighter and more accessible to everyone. Thank you for using your platform to highlight this topic. I could go on about this, but for now, I just want to say I really appreciate the work you’re doing to help make the Autocross community feel welcoming for everyone.
I am also starting a pod, we should collab!
i second what she said! it's all about control not speed pursuit, try to go fast blindly flooring the throttle and you'll overheat your tyres.. the right way is to at low speed control your rotation and centre of balance.

It's actually mosquitoes... but I suppose that doesn't make for good TV
35:25 "what's the best autocross car" "Evo" ... facts
Great podcast as always fellas
Hey Danny, What kind of golf clubs? Game improvement Irons?
Of course. I need all the help I can get!
#RakeReview
7:48 aaaayy thanks for the consolation shout out! I was thinking "man, I was just outside the top 10 announcement. Next time for sure" 😅
i’m nowhere near the dmv area but i loved this podcast
H Street National Tour?! Let's go babyyyy! Time to get @NoBrakesRacing in a real car!
I'm hoping I can go to Nationals in 2025! If I do, I'll barely make Danny's age cutoff. 🤣I've gotta try a ProSolo too!
Thank you guys so much for posting about Shane! I hadn't heard! Also... Imma need to get me one of those tire machines when I grow up. That'll pay for itself! See you guys this weekend!
Yup, golf is silly cheap compared to racing...which is why I play a lot of golf now instead of racing :P
Solid financial advice!
Whatever happened to Team Zip-Tie's Camaro? Is it being driven back to the Bahamas?
Met these people at the AX school weeks ago at Summit. So nice, effective, great lessons!! Go Ryan!
Really glad to be a part of this!
Jeff is right, I think that track driving is the best way to learn to be smooth. When you have a corners that are several hundred feet from braking to tracking out, there's a lot more time to focus on it. Harder to do that in the rapid-fire short autocross corners
Really enjoyed this ep.!
It was good seeing you guys at Summit last Saturday. What you might not know about me is that in a previous life I was a high school science teacher. The "Dog Days" of summer are named so because that is the time of year in the northern hemisphere when Sirius, the "dog star" rises at the same time as the sun. Sirius is also the brightest star in the night sky
For Ripken, go to Chap's Pit Beef. Keep going past the Chick Fil A it'll be on your right after about 1/4 mile
Make sure Choi knows that Zaxby's in Falls Church is better than Cane's
+1 for Mezzalunas by Summit Point.
My 5 Best cars based on Life Situation. 1. Getting Started: NA/NB Miata. Cheap Easy and great to learn on. More handeling than power. 2. BRZ/FRS/GT86: Affordable, enough space to carry everything for you and 1 other person around. 3. I Need the power. C5 Z06. Doesn't break the bank, gives you the America V8 sounds. 4. More Space and AWD, Subaru WRX/STI. Flat brim hats and vape juice aside great cars, easy to drive at the limit, and tons of mods. 5. Dedicated Autocross Car ND Miata. The fastest car you can possibly get for any course any event.
Don’t forget that sunscreen! It’ll save ya!
Danny, my instructor at the SCCA Level 1 AX school at Summit!!! Thanks again for some great lessons!!
Danny didn't tell you that he bought me a case of Miller Lite to let him win that hat :)
Chia Pet lol
This was a fun one to watch/listen.
Excellent commentary by Greg! Long live the Hu's!
I think Greg's reporting is fantastic, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I was prominently featured...
